On 27/03/2021 at 10.05 am I purchased an Adapter for my New IPhone 11. I wanted an Apple Adapter and the one she sold me ‘Soiries/Type-C charger @$25.00. I was advised by Optus this Adapter can ruin my New IPhone 11. I returned to the shop 10 minutes later to Return it still in its Packaging with Receipt. She refused to refund my S25.00 and abused me in Chinese. This tirade went on for 10 minutes that left me terribly agitated and she was verbally aggressive. Insult to Injury she called the Springvale Shopping Centre Security on me!!! The Security Guard was on my side and wanted to call the Police on her! I believe and the Law States if There is a No Refund Policy! It should be Clearly Advertised so Buyers are aware of their Policy. In very smudged print on the end of the Receipt (which can hardly be read, it states no refunds) I did ask her if the Adapter would be fine and she assured me it would be. She should have said that they have a No Refund Policy. Now I am stuck with a useless Adapter and out of pocket $25.00. I am taking this to Consumer Affairs! I know it’s only a small amount of money but it’s The Principle! Unethical Deceptive Businesses such as Smartstation-Springvale should not be allowed to Operate. I write this Review to Protect other Unsuspecting Potential Customers from being Ripped Off!! BUYER BEWARE! Avoid This Shop!! Cheryll McFarland.
