Kumiai Ryu Martial Arts
I highly recommend Kumiai Ryu Newcastle! My 7 year old started in January 2021 and he absolutely loves it! He does 2 classes a day 4 days a week and he would do more if he could. His confidence and concentration levels have increased dramatically!All the staff are fantastic with children (I'm not sure who has more fun during the class lol) and are always there for both child and parent if we have any questions.Best thing we have done for our son!

Our 4 yo son started here at Kumiai Ryu Edgeworth in May this year and has enjoyed every single lesson since! Shidoin Alysia is just wonderful at what she does and has such a passion for teaching her students. Alysia has so much patience and has played a huge part in helping our son with his confidence and discipline. The centre is run with such professionalism but also has such a huge family feel. Kumiai Ryu Martial Arts
I have been training Muay Thai at Kumiai Ryu for the last 5 months and can personally say it has been a fantastic experience. The team is welcoming to people of all backgrounds, ages and fitness levels. The classes are well structured, they are taught well by fantastic demonstrators and the environment is just great all around. I could not recommended Kumiai Ryu highly enough, if you are on the fence about starting to train for sure give it a try!

Kumiai Ryu is an inclusive, friendly, and adaptable martial arts community. All of the team are highly experienced and show the utmost professional care towards their students. The skills learnt in the dojo will lead to an improvement in all areas of your health and are transferable into all aspects of life. The pricing is also fair. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to take their physical, emotional, and spiritual health to the next level.
