Have been thinking of purchasing a Hoover carpet cleaner for over a year but reviews on their site were quite ordinary-very slow to receive and people not getting their free shampoo.The carpet in the property I am in is a light coloured 23 year old one and with all the recent rain looked quite ordinary particularly with the little dog footprints down the passage after the weekend. Although it has been cleaned regularly I haven’t been that impressed with the jobs done.Then I discovered there was a Godfrey’s at Underwood so I headed there yesterday afternoon and meet a very helpful Julie and gentleman whose name I didn’t get sorry.They showed me how to work the cleaner and assembled the new one for me before taking it out to the car for me.I was keen to try it when I got home but restrained myself until this morning.I have to say I am thrilled with the job it has done! Quite easily managed by a 75 year old with a few health issues. Now I won’t need to stress about Bailey dog going out on wet muddy days.Thanks to both the staff there. I will remember you are there now next time I need to purchase something.

I waited a few days to write this to make sure I could also review the product along with the customer service I experienced. Julie served me and I had a vacuum i had seen online and wanted. Julie went through the features asked questions and when she found out I had BAD allergies she suggested the Tineco. Julie showed me all the features and didn't push the vacuum on me she simply pointed out both features of the vacuums and the Tineco I felt was best for my family. Julie was great and can honestly say the vacuum she suggested is amazing and I love it. And to have someone serve you and not push a more expensive product on you and just point out the products features and then let the customer decide. That I liked. It's why I prefer to buy online to avoid that. But I never felt that with Julie and I appreciated that. Felt like this vacuum was my choice.

We bought 1 cordless vacuum and 1 vacuum/mop with Julie today at Godfrey’s underwood. We had such a great experience. She was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We feel confident that if we need assistance with our cleaning needs, we know where to go. Thank you for your help Julie
