I came to see Paul with an extremely tight and soar back after waking up one morning from doing too much in the gym. Aggravated my lower back which I have had issues with for years. I Could barely get my shoes on. The team were able to fit me in with short notice. We worked on it for the next 2 days and one day a week after that. We assessed my whole body from neck to my feet. He asked all the right questions regarding my lifestyle and level of activity and from that we were able to get the most optimal plan for recovery and keeping my body on point. The thing I liked about Paul that differs from other physiohs and chiropractors I have seen over the last 10 years is the whole assessment of my body and treating other areas which were in turn putting my body under stress. Rather than treat just the area I thought the pain was coming from, which was all I got from other experiences. My body has never felt in such good shape in a long time. I continue to see Paul at least once a month or whenever I feel the body needs a slight adjustment. Paul & I agreed this is the best way to approach it rather than having me come in week after week when the body is feeling great, unlike past experiences where I felt like it was more about taking my money than treating the patient. I highly recommend Paul. The level of professionalism and knowledge he shows is second to none. Thanks again Paul.

Paul is a fantastic physio and unlike some others in his field, his approach is very hands on. None of this “put heat on and leave you there then watch you do exercises”. He uses his own hands / body strength to heal the body and leaves you feeling like you definitely got value for money. Paul is constantly re-educating himself so that his practice is at the highest level. I consider Paul’s treatment an integral part of my overall health and well-being.

After intensive X-rays my doctor issued me with a referral to a specialist for a potential invasive procedure due to the pain I was still experiencing after having tried various modalities. Had also endured a very painful cortisone injection into what was thought to be planter faciitis. Before making an appointment with the specialist I wanted to try one more time to find another way………Came across Essential Health Frenchs Forest and liked the reviews. What a great decision, Paul has changed my life. He didn’t concentrate on the site of pain but examined my body as a whole and treated as required the areas that may be Causing the pain.Turns out I did not have Planter Faciitis as that pain was relieved away when other parts were treated. 95% of pain has been relieved.After apx 8 months it will now be a tune up appointment when required.Paul is straight talking and that is often what we need when improving our wellbeing. He also has a good sense of humour but most of all he is honest, professional and great at what he does.Highly recommended!!

Paul is an excellent physio. I’ve recently been treated for neck pain and Paul was extremely detailed and thorough in his assessment, explanation and ultimately correction. I travel from Bondi as I feel Paul provides something different to a usual physio. He gets to the root cause, not just the superficial pain. Really pleased with my treatment.

I'm in my 40s and after seven knee operations it was recommended I have a full knee replacement . After 5 years of living with chronic pain in my hip, I went to see Paul at essential health plus French's forest. After a handful of visits my outcome was amazing!!!
