Fantastic place. The most amazing staff. So friendly and went above and beyond when I turned up before the sun. Clean, comfy and a shower with good pressure.Kids loved the pool.I have been travelling to Mackay every month and this is the best accommodation so far for the value.Will be back for future visits.

Basic room for overnight stay. Empty tissue dispenser, no milk in fridge no cold water so fridge was running with nothing in it, a biscuit would have been nice. Paint peeling inside and out. Free newspaper and tourist info were over a month old. Bistro was closed. Definitely not 4 star as advertised. Will find somewhere else next time.

Filthy and tired. Toilet seat so tired it was peeling off and yellow, mouldy tiles throughout, built up grime and dust throughout, tap fixtures from the 70s so old they barely worked, 70s wall mounted hair dryer didn’t work. Clearly bare minimum is done to maintain this dump.

We broke down on the way to Mackay making us late for our check in, luckily we were able to organise after hours key collection. The room was nice for the pricing and the hot shower was great after waiting for a tow truck for so long. Big thank you to the staff for their help and for giving us water while we were fixing our car.

This place is a horrible stay. The bathrooms are disgusting, filled with Mold everywhere, and just simply dirty. Both my towels had blood stains. It was just unbearable. Had to leave early. Paying more than $100 a night you'd expect a half decent place, but the beds are springy, and half the techs in the room are broken, or just don't work.But the hotel manager at the front seemed like a nice guy, but that doesn't make up for the worse than mediocre rooms.

Terrible fridge filthy no milk room stinks just shocking for tourists to see all dried up sour milk in bottom of fridge
