Dive Experience

5 Stars is nowhere near enough for these incredible human beings. On the 15th December my drone malfunctioned and fell into Little Blue Lake, Mount Gambier. With the lake being a minimum 25 meters deep there was no way of recovering all the important moments I had stored on the memory card. Within a day I had found out that these guys were the only local Pro Divers that ever dive little blue lake. I got in contact with Darren Mitchell and explained what had happened and how much the footage meant to me. THE VERY NEXT DAY I receive an email from Darren telling me that he and another Diver named Josh (Josh owns ‘The Habitat’ divers accommodation in Mount Gambier, which is an awesome place for anyone to spend a night or 10!) had recovered the drone and went down as soon as they found out what had been lost. AND within 4 days my drone had been sent to me all the way to Adelaide! This story just sounds more incredible every time I talk about it, but If you want to dive with anyone and anywhere in the world, be sure to go and meet these absolute hero’s who no doubt have the most incredible customer service I have ever received!

Had a great dive at Kilsby Sinkhole today (18/05/2022) with the team from Dive Experience. It was well worth the effort to travel here (From the NSW Central Coast) and enjoy some fresh water diving. The whole experience was laid back and friendly with just the right amount of professionalism to put you at ease pre-dive. There is plenty of room to park and gear up with clean toilets right there. The hardest part of the whole dive was negotiating the two ladder sections down to the dive platform however, with Darren's guidance and slowly does it approach, we easily did it down and up without incident! The dive brief was again, conducted in a friendly manner, peppered with little historical anecdotes to keep you listening. If I could suggest one improvement, it would have been to have a hot coffee after the dive, however, there are some new buildings being added to the site of which, I am told, one will contain an on-site cafe. A good dive for the log book!

Fantastic! Darren guided us through a dive at Kilsby Sinkhole. Darren was very patient and knowledgeable, we felt safe and supported. The sinkhole was amazing - looking up from 20m deep to the sky was magical.

Darren is amazing and the service is exceptional. I highly recommend booking in with Dive Experience if you are in Mount Gambier. Every little detail is always taken care of and the entire trip was a fantastic experience.

Awesome experience. I did the night snorkelling which I was petrified to do, but it was amazing. So peaceful, and the night life underwater was unbelievable. The hosts did everything to make me feel at ease. Overall one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had.

Have a great time with Dive Experience every time! Can not recommend them enough. Very experienced professionals who will guide you through an amazing experience.

Avoid at all costs.Zero communication, will delete any feedback from their Facebook that isn’t positive.It’s all a show, a poorly run business.They’re after your money and nothing else.They have a $50 cancellation fee, for what? A lack of administration. Essentially daylight robbery! I didn’t realise this place was a charity.If you’re at their lodge! Enjoy the beers, they’re on me!

Absolutely fantastic experience and must do when you are in Mount Gambier,Kilsby sinkhole and Ewen Ponds are incredible dive sitesDarren is such a kind and patient dive master and will make you super comfortable in the water.He is super knowledgeable and experienced with an awesome attitude.He went above and beyond and this day will never be forgotten highly recommended!!!Thanks heaps Darren you legend!!!

Amazing dive operator. Very friendly and accommodating within reason. Dove with Darren and René at ewen's ponds and kilsby sinkhole. They gave us the best experience. The dive briefings were very very detailed and informative. Highly recommended.
