Great suburban fish & chip shop. Just beware their default is to crumb their fish unless you request otherwise. Their calamari is amazing especially when requested for battered instead of crumb. Prices have recently gone up see attached photo.

Tall older person (no man talks to women like he did) is very rude.When a shop has local customers they obviously don't think they need to be civil to potentials.Shame because the food looked good.I work in customer service and I would never talk to a person like that.Very disappointed.You have asked for specifics?I am not a local and was not used to the ticket system. I entered, with a ticket to ask if it was for the ordering or for picking up. I understand that it must be annoying you to have people asking questions all the time, but you didn't even give me a chance to open my mouth. I was firstly ignored for 5 minutes and then asked repeatedly what ticket number are you" without even being able to answer. It was very rude. You don't have to talk to people in such a manner.If you had of simply explained nicely I would have stayed around and been a paying customer

Located on a busy road, this small fish and fish & chip takeaway is super! Good range of fresh fish, as well as a pet fish Scotty. The plain grilled fish is really good - big portion and cooked just right. BBQ octopus is really tasty (a bit of rosemary in there) & the calamari is light and crispy. Service was really friendly and quick to cook!

The food is fresh and very tasty always hits the spot after a beach day. The only thing that people need to keep in mind is that they use the old school 'grab a ticket' for lining up. Have seen people try to push infront without grabbing a ticket.

Decent F&C and good value for money, but couldn't see why so many 5 stars. The chips were a little tasteless and fish slightly on the soggy side. Big queue on a Friday night, didn't take too long maybe 20 mins but worth bearing in mind. Overall happy enough.

My family really enjoyed the food - they got fish and chips. I personally loved that there was a variety of delicious vegan salads available for me yum yum!

+ Excellent customer Service+ generous fish portions (we had grilled which was very nice)+ generous chip quantity- below average chip quality. Soggy and brown- Scallop potato with very thin batter and soggy- crumbed, not battered seafood stick. Same again, soggy and very oily.I'll try and find somewhere else next time.

Foods great owner are rude and shive people out 1 hour before they close. Terrible service and should look how food is served I other parts of the world.Better head to padstow best fish and chips in Sydney!
