Safeway Security Screens

I m the sole carer of my 85 year old mother. She needed a new security door. After one very friendly phone call, everything else was arranged via email. The installer was very friendly and caring - so my Mum told me. Price was very competitive.We've already recommended Safeway to friends.

Perfect quote experience by Simon, who was polite, experienced, efficient. Equally was the installation by Hayden a couple of weeks later. (I'm very impressed with him just asking if my dog's a runner before keeping the front door locked open, to carry in the new screens) All in all, a super product installed (double door sliding door security screens) Beautifully cleaned up after installation. The doors look amazing!!! I'm so happy with Safeway Security Screens from beginning to end of the process. Would recommend this company to everyone.

This company does not believe in customer satisfaction!We were not happy with the colour of the frames as it didn’t match existing screens and exterior wall paint as desired. Colour on quote was written in abbreviation so we didn’t know actual colour but trusted salesman for a matching result. Also there is poor workmanship. (See pics )Spoke to the manager after installation of 2 of our security screens in question and he got blatantly offensive.Paying after the installation of the doors or not , simply would not have made a damn difference!The manager did not get back to us in a prompt or professional manner as we had to call and email several times until we spoke 2 weeks later. No help! No resolution so far! It caused us a lot of anger and stress.

$3000 for 4 windows, back sliding door & a front door.. 6+ bonus screws and a mess to clean up..After getting security screens installed, and the installer left, I did another walk through of his work. Only then did I notice the metal shavings under every installation.. front & back door, bathroom and bedrooms. As I was vacuuming these metal shavings and giving this company the benefit of doubt, I found multiple screws left behind, I cant excuse this now. 6 in the photo but we found about 2-3 before deciding to collect them as proof. He also left the door catch thrown on the ground out the back..For as much as i paid for this service it isn't right to be left with such a mess and a dangerous one at that. These screws could go straight into anyone's foot or a pets paw.As for the installation, there are scratches over the frames from sloppy drill work. The back sliding door screen is also floppy in its frame, when you push it lightly is wobbles.The installer also removed my curtain rod in all rooms and left them for me to put back up myself. Not a huge deal but if you take them down, put them buck up next time.The guy who came out to measure and quote was very nice though.I'll not be recommending safeway security screens.

Love my new double sliding security doors, went with the secureview mesh. Look amazing and beautiful to look through. Two week turn around from quote to fitting, quick and professional install. Great price. Cannot fault them and I would highly recommend.

I've just had Safeway install three sliding security doors as our dog keeps trashing the old flyscreens.From my initial web contact Safeway have been brilliant. I was pomtly contacted and given a time for the measure and quote and the guy who arrived was on time, professional and definitely not pushy.They were installed today and I couldn't be happier with the quality of their service and product.I highly recommend Safeway Security Screens.

They did a great job measuring and installing the security door on time with high quality locks. Professionals and great customer service. Would recommend them to my friends.

Not a great experience - about 4-5 dozen metal shavings left per window after installation both in the rainwater runs and on the ground. My son trod on one in his play area.Installation is average and only one of the 9 screens installed was placed correctly (even placement) whereas the others were touching on two corners and lifted on the others.Overall very sloppy and unsafe to leave shavings everywhere after install.Edit: Kelly has been fantastic in terms of customer care, and is a credit to the team. My feedback was taken onboard which is more than most companies would do.Edit 2: changed to 1 star as exterior door has now failed due to striker plate issues. It will no longer shut itself when left to shut as the latch activates too early, locking itself open.The strike plate was held onto the metal frame with self-tapping metal screws which do not hold it flush, it now jiggled and they have become loose over time (within two years) - not very secure at all and very poor quality.Another review has noted this exact same issue, so seems I am so alone in this experience.I’ve also added photos of the poor fitment of the security door, showing the overlap being incorrect, leaving unsightly overhang and visible gap. Overall, very poor quality.
