Newcastle Plumbing were unable to fix the water hammer in our kitchen. They came out twice and were able to dull the sound temporarily. We were charged over $700, and unfortunately they would not return to try again as they said it couldn't be fixed. We went through another company who came out for one visit and were able to fix the hammer.We haven't used Newcastle Plumbing for other services, and from past reviews they appear great. For our issue and I guess more complex plumbing issues, I wish we had used an alternative provider from the start to avoid paying double.

We called Newcastle Plumbing on Friday around noon and there was a plumber at our house 30 minutes later. And an hour later, the problem had been diagnosed and fixed. Our plumber was excellent, answering any questions I had and giving me options and recommendations.(He also was great with our nosey dogs).I could not more highly recommend Newcastle Plumbing.

The receptionist was very transparent about the cost range when I called. The job ended up being a bit trickier than first anticipated but they were upfront in the change of quote.The guy found a way to do the job so he didn't have to pull up my floor boards and made it much cheaper.I was really happy with the whole process and never felt like I was getting jerked around.

Highly recommend Newcastle Plumbing. Office staff were helpful in booking an appointment and keeping in touch. Jason came to fix a blocked drain. He did a great job as the property is old and the line had not been cleared for a long time. Although there were tree roots blocking the drain, Jason was able to clear the blockage - without having to dig up the garden. Thank you!
