Best salon! I refuse to go anywhere else! Kinh the owner, her sister Amiee and the girls there are so kind and lovely. They ensure you have the best service possible. Very knowledgeable on all your nail and waxing needs. They are highly trained and skilled and are always polite. Kinh takes the time to get to know all of her customers personally and never forgets names. The salon is extremely hygienic, each tool is sanitised before and after use, there are pedicure basin wraps, and surfaces are always cleaned down before and after use. There is no double dipping with waxing and new strips are used each time. There are sensitive or normal wax options for any type of skin. I always get so many compliments on my eyebrows and nails after I’ve been to the salon. Would never trust anyone else to do them! So many colours and styles to choose from like normal, shiny, metallic, glitter etc. The sns and acrylic options stay on for ages. I’ve never had a nail chip or break before and I have been going to this salon ever since it opened!

I was really excited to try this salon as I had read great reviews and it has one of the highest google rating for my area and overall I feel completely underwhelmed and disappointed.Like most nail salons nowadays, it’s always super busy which I took as a good sign. But unfortunately due to them being so busy, the work is rushed and average at best.I typically get shellac manicures every couple of weeks but the polish they use would barely make it a week without being tarnished in some way. My nails have never been weaker since attending this salon and constantly break before my next appointment was due.Today was unfortunately the final straw with me as I came in to get the shellac that was left on my fingernails removed. I only had 5 nails total that needed to be removed as the rest had chipped, broken or tore off in the days proceeding. They had the audacity to try charge me $15 to have these removed! Especially when everywhere that I could see told me it would only be $5 for a soak off. And if you get your nails done regularly you’ll come to learn it is simply acetone, cotton wool buds and tin foil that is required to take the remaining shellac off, so a complete rip off in my opinion to charge so much for a simple service.Of course when I expressed my shock at being charged so much for the soak off, Kinh, who is either the owner or manager proceeded to become increasingly rude to the point where I felt like I needed to write this review to warn others. You should make it a lot clearer from the beginning about your prices as they can be misinterpreted as is the case with me today. You have lost me as an ongoing, loyal customer and I will be returning to Sophisticated Nails around the corner where they at least appreciate their customers and don’t try to rip them off with such basic of services.

SN is the only place I will ever get my mani/pedi done EVER. When I got married they closed the salon for my bridal party and I, brought out drinks and nibbles and it was wonderful. I have never known a salon to allocate private client numbers which are linked to your own use file, buffer, toe separators etc. Such a lovely environment, they know what they are doing.Highly recommended

It took me a while to choose a Nail Salon because I'm super fussy and I didn't like anyones work. I'm really happy I chose to go to Kim. I had extensions done for the first time and I was impressed with her good work. I also couldn't help noticing that all of their clients had beautiful nails. I'll definitely be back.

This place is an absolute rip offf!!! I have NEVER paid 86 dollars for full set extension French nails. They kept making excuses as to why it’s so expensive. Honestly the nails are breaking within a week. The quality is below par. Please work on your pricing and match it with the expertise and quality. I could give 0 star is I could. Also you need to not drill it into my hand. I have never had such poor quality nails that last less than a week. Thanks I will definitely not be spending money there again or won’t recommend it to anyone.

The shape of the nails and application of sns was great, but unfortunately if you're looking for fancy designs you're not going to get anything near that. But that's not really my issue. The issue is why pay $50 for SNS and not even have your cuticles cleaned up? My nails would much nicer if they just did that at a minimum.

I booked for a manicure and pedicure for my niece and myself as a special pamper treat but unfortunately we were both disappointed. We felt very rushed and although clearly we were together and wanting to chat a screen was placed between us while we had our pedicure and we couldn’t talk, on purpose I think! Our pedicures were extremely rushed and not at all thorough. Very overpriced for the service we received. I will not return to this salon and my $210 will be spent at a nail salon elsewhere. My recommendation would be to treat all customers kindly as you would like to be treated. I felt like we were just an imposition to the owner.

I was really disappointed to read the last review by Chade Le Lievre as I was actually sitting right next to her at the salon yesterday. At no stage was she spoken to rudely by Kinh or anyone else and the cost of soaking off nails is clearly stated, $15 for a soak off and shape. The $5 charge she referred to is also clearly stated as being for those who are having a new set of nails put on. This is a great salon, with lots of happy, long term, returning customers. Here's a suggestion Chade.....if you have any concerns or problems with your nails then contact Kinh directly and speak to her about them before posting nasty and untrue comments on social media. I am confident she would want to know how you lost 5 of your nails in such a short period of time and if it was due to the fault of the salon then she would gladly have re-done your nails or refunded your money. Not once in that salon yesterday did you even attempt to speak to her about the problem! In fact once you left it was commented on by a number of customers how rude you were. Learn to read the signs, they were clear what the charges were and be polite when dealing with staff, you will get a much better outcome. Kinh is running a business, she needs to pay staff, rent, power etc and supply the acetone, cotton wool and tin foil that is used to soak off your nails, as well as the seat you are sitting on whilst they soak off, it doesn't come free. By the way, if Sophisticated Nails around the corner are so wonderful, why did you stop going there?????For those of you interested in an unbiased opinion, yes the salon is busy so call and book beforehand so you can get in. The staff are friendly, kind and gentle. They don't drill off your SNS or Shellac but soak it off which is gentler on your own nails, but allow extra time for this. They have an amazing array of colours for you to choose from and are priced competitively. There are nail salons everywhere, there is a reason that this salon is busy, it is because they are excellent!

I went in just to have my acrylic nails removed. I was asked if i wanted a manicure and trim and i said no, just a soak off. I had cotton wool and foils on each nail while resting my hands on a zip lock bag with a warm towel in it that they heated in the microwave which was way too hot!The three workers spoke in their language around me the whole time like I didn’t even exist which made me feel uncomfortable. They also hacked at my nails with a file to get the remainder gel off. I left with jagged and uneven nails. I could have done better myself at homeThis removal service was listed as $5 on their price list but for some reason, i was charged $21!!!!!Very disappointed. Will not be returning
