Stayed in Narrandera on our way to Adelaide for one reason only - to see the Inland Fisheries Centre, which I'd always wanted to see. Drove around there only to find it was closed, despite the fact that their own website said it was open. Even the people at Narrandera Info Centre had no idea that it was closed. When they rang for me they were told the tour guide was sick. So one person is sick and the whole place closes? Why can't the visitor centre still be open? I was then told that they were hoping it will be open tomorrow". Too late for me I'm afraid. A very poor effort."

Wonderful local tours with amazing knowledge and true love for the local wildlife and fish.Great spot to visit from 3yr olds all the way up!!

Very impressive, saw a video explaining how cod and other species of fish are caught and bred for release in the NSW rivers. Aquarium where you can see some varieties of fish and of course the big cod.Very informative. Well worth the visit

Knowledge and friendly staff. Learnt a lot about native fish and their role in the environment. Prices for tour are reasonable and seem to be more focused on educating people than turning a profit which I think is great. I went for the love of fish, but the while family had lots of fun too.

Great experience visiting the centre. Very educational. Small aquarium, but good to see the many native and non-native species that inhabit the river. Definitely worth a trip if you are passing through Narrandera.

What an excellent place to learn about fresh water Australian fish. Take or children & show them, bring a something to cook they have free BBQs.
