Gordon Studio Glassblowers

A beautiful art studio and perfect stop off on the tourist trail around the Mornington Peninsula! The studio was open and artists were glass blowing while we were there. It was an amazing experience!

outstanding art pieces hand blown in glass- some amazing work that makes you wonder how they were made! -in the mornings you can watch the family at work on various pieces- educational and inspiring!

Loved walking around this area and viewing the many sculptures outside. We had a map and still were delighted with 'surprise' finds. Sculptures were made from a huge variety of materials, something for everyone

Beautiful and unique place to learn about the glassblowing process. If you're planning to visit, be sure to include it in the first half of the day perhaps, we arrived about an hour before closing (4pm) and furnace was off. Could still marvel at the beautiful glassware, and the cute little glassware garden they've built on the outside. I remember visiting pre COVID and they also had the opportunity for guests to buy into a workshop on the day to try making their own glassware. Even if you didn't purchase, still pretty cool watching from the gallery upstairs. There's also large placards and monitor with a video that's constantly playing glassblowing information, but it was certainly more worth the visit to watch it happening in person, so arrive early. As others have mentioned, the entrance is a bit tricky, easy to miss, and if you did, you could end up on the highway (80 speed limit) and drive quite a bit away to U turn back especially with other cars behind you.

Wonderful place if you are a glass enthusiast. The outdoor glass sculptures have turned the place into a miniature Chihuly garden.We watched the glass-blowing of two beautiful wine glasses. Well worth a visit, just watch out for the tricky entrance on Red Hill Road.

A workshop, art gallery, sculpture garden and shop package deal. There’s a lot to see and admire. Looking forward to visiting again Mon-Fri during the day to see the artists working in the hot shop!

Beautiful quality art works, nice drive to see the glass blowing process in action .Good way to appreciate the time and skill required. The whole family is in business with a live from the medium , They produce a range of works from stunning statement pieces for the garden or interior as well as gallery quality works and smaller vases and bowls. Well worth a visit.
