Auto Basics

My little Honda lawnmower needed a service, a few things fixed, and new blades. Auto Basics seems to work predominantly on very large 4WD vehicles, so you can imagine how I felt wheeling my dusty little mower into the workshop. But, a few days later, out it came looking happy and running like a dream.

Absolutely the best service. Jason replaced a warped head on my Jap import. He keep me informed of what what he found and had to fix through out the whole service. He was very realistic about costs. I found him very honest, and the result was excellent. I travel around Australia, and he is the BEST mechanic I have used. I would highly recommend these guys! AAA+

Not happy! Got a frustrated person assisting with an order when I offered invoice Number to help search got even more frustrated obviously because I didn’t offer it to begin with. Had I known she wanted the invoice number (pretty easy ask) I would have gladly provided it. When the order came I got phone confirmation (thanks) however I couldn’t get back again that day so did a google search to check opening time for Saturday only to get out there well within the advertised time and discovered it’s not open at all on Saturday. Maybe it’s time to update your google details and opening times! Not only this the show room is chained off so you have about 3meters square to wait for service with other customers. I’m pretty sure where not in the middle of a COVID restrictions anymore!

I have brought my car many times to this business. ALWAYS professional and ALWAYS at a reasonable price. Cannot praise them enough. Occasionally they refer me onto other specialists--most classy thing about them (a desire to see I receive the best service possible).HIGHLY recommended.

The usual great service and attention to detail. Was grateful to have my windscreen cleaned too, and then to my amazement noticed the whole car exterior and lots of insects also cleaned off the vehicle. What a lovely surprise. Thank you.Jason has bailed me out many times over the years. Extremely thorough and follows through if something extra big needs checking later. Have gone to him for years with gas/petrol Prado, and diesel Hilux. I wouldn't think of going elsewhere. Good staff as well.

If You have any vehicle and it need mechanical repairs take it to Auto Basics . Their prices are great and they also do LPG certificates and 10 Year LPG gas tank inspection at a reasonable price.

Great service, took my car LPG tank for testing and recertification, done in very quick time. It cost me a lot more than I thought it would though; although they did through in a brand new Honda brush cutter!!!!! All in all a very pleasant experience.

Fitted me in at short notice and provided a quick value for money solution to me issue.

If it's all about customer service, does it get any better? I booked in for annual gas check, lost both fuel systems on the way, they came and got me (for nothing mind you!). Couldn't do it today but booked me for first available. Know how to start to get back. Have been here before, will spread the word, and go again.

A fantastic group of expert mechanics. And so considerate of customers. Cannot recommend highly enough.
