Wallsend Library

Really nice library since the refurbishment, apart from the crying children,kids screaming,I didnt know wallsend library was a childcare center also, thought libraries were supposed to be a peaceful place for people to read,research,apparently not

What a amazing place! Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Fantastic collection of books too.

Very nice place to study, relax and to find reading material! It's really pretty and has several nice spots to sit down. The computers are limited to 60min (or express 20min) but you can ask for extensions.

I absolutely love Wallsend Library.It's a great space all round.

I was there to get some printing jobs today, but the staff named *VICKY* was very rude to me, in-front of few other people, that was really embarrassing. When I asked her where to collect my documents once given print command from the computer. Her reply was, Can you see a printer sitting on this table? Even before that when I called her several times to help me while passing through me holding some magazines, wasn’t busy at all, she completely ignored me. I think if she cannot help people, she should not belong there, and also she must be very racist person. Sorry to say, but it hurts when people like her treat people on the basis of the colour.

Has full stars for efficient use of energy and water. Has a good collection of books, magazines, DVDs, computer terminals. A children area, young adults area, and herbal area helps. Very friendly helpful staff. Has two rooms for discussions. Just opposite to the bus stop and close to Stockland Shopping Centre Wallsend. Good number of parking bays.In a nutshell, good facilities, good location and good parking/convenient for public transport. Cannot ask for anything more.Great place to take the children and spend quality time.

The lady here was very nice & lovely& helpful. After a while when I was writing here it got very noisy kids yelling & laughing. Like at a playground

Great quite space good selection

I honestly love this place, there are some many good books which are well sorted as well as a large collection of DVD. The staff are super nice and helpful and the computers are very easy to use plus they even have a pirate language which is crazy to me. There’s also a very modern feel to the place which makes it a great place to be. I would suggest this as my number one to anyone who asks me which library to go to.
