Matt was referred to me by a friend/colleague to assist with selling my two Schimmel pianos.Matt was fabulous to deal with, providing great communication and professionalism every step of the way. He achieved a wonderful result in a short space of time.I am happy that my pianos have gone on to homes where they will be appreciated and enjoyed by their new owners.And more than happy to recommend Matt!

I first bought a piano from Matt and Ross 6 years ago, our 2 children had graduated from the electronic keyboard. Our music teacher at school recommended we have a look here, we drove from near Anglesea. We had planned on just looking, i had done my on line research, but had not been to another store. There was no pressure just good informative and knowledgeable advise, we ended up buying a Japanese made reconditioned Yamaha A1. Very happy , a 10 year warranty, delivered, tuned all arranged and an offer to trade in at the purchase price, should we want to upgrade anytime in the future. I am cautious buyer, these guys are a 5/5 and i highly recommend them.Six years on..Our children, now retired from the piano! With no one now playing at home I wanted to sell the piano. I rang Matt to ask whether the original warranty was transferable when sold. Having had the piano on various websites, was getting sick of the low ball offers, and time wasters, he told me I was selling it too cheap, the A1's were difficult to get a hold of now and offered me a couple of contacts . I rang him back 10 minutes later and decided to have Matt sell the piano for me....he arranged pick up and had it sold in 4 weeks. I received more money and had no headaches. Everything he said was true accurate and I now have a nice tidy sum sitting in my account. Another 5/5 dealing, these guys are the real deal, thank you Matt, thank Melbourne Piano sales

I am very happy to recommend Matt at the Melbourne Piano Sales in Richmond.On advice from a highly regarded piano technician, she suggested that I look for a good quality used Yamaha piano, C2 minimum to C3 at the Melbourne Piano Sales. The tech suggested that I get a newish piano. There were a lot of incredibly good pianos there. I took my time and didn't feel pressured by Matt or Nick, they just left me to it.I played a lot of pianos, some were brighter, some were mellower and one was just right for me. All of them were in beautiful condition, making the decision wasn't easy. Once I narrowed it down to two, I asked Nick to play for me so I could hear them both from a distance. This further confirmed that I was selecting the right one for me.Matt was comfortable with me having a long delivery period. I was waiting on settlement for a house and didn't want to move my new piano to the old home only to have to move it again so quickly.The piano mover was very, very careful. He also offered me some advice re the split system in the room. That is now directed upwards and nowhere near the piano. Due to the extreme heat we were expecting today, the piano was delivered to Nathalia in Northern Victoria before 9.00 in the morning. I was worried about the heat, but they had thought of everything.If I ever have to buy another piano, I will be going back to see Matt at the Melbourne Piano Sales. He was very kind and an easy person to talk with.

This is my first Google Review. But the service and attention which Matt gave us when we walked into the shop to purchase a digital piano was outstanding.Unlike the normal push/aggressive salesman, Matt was warm, genuine and sincere. All the time, we got the impression that he was looking after our interest and not just out to make a quick buck.He showed us all the digital piano he had and explained to us the difference between the various Kawai model.Usually, I wouldn't have made a huge investment like this on the spot, but would gone back another day.But Matt's expertise helped us made the decision.Glad to walk out of there 2 days ago to support a great family business!

A friend of mine introduced Matt, after checking other places, we ended up going there to finalise it. Althoaugh we knew what we were buying, he was very helpful and very FRIENDLY, we had a quite laughing time, found him very humble and easy going. We bought a demo Kawai digital piano from Matt last week and it's delivered yesterday. When we went in store to try the pianos, Matt was very patient in explaining the differences of the pianos and how they suit different needs. Matt is very friendly and definitely not a pushy piano seller. We felt that we were free to try the pianos without any pressure. Matt is very responsive to emails and is very humble considering he is a Kawai authorized seller and there is a shortage of pianos during this pandemic environment. We are very happy with the purchase and would definitely go back to Melbourne Piano Sales.

This place cannot be beat for the best piano deals in town. Matt is laid back, friendly, and knows his stuff. You can trust him implicitly.

Had such a great experience purchasing a Yamaha U3A through Matt recently. I compared with a few other pianos stores in Melbourne but went back to Matt because he was so down to earth, knowledgeable and didn't do the hard sell. He was very obliging and notified me by email when he had the piano I wanted in stock and it was ready to play. Received delivery a week ago which went very smoothly, I couldn't be happier! Impressed that delivery, stool, initial tune and 10 year warranty included as well, for a great final price

We were attended to by Matt on the phone and Ross in-person. Both were very friendly, honest, open and just had this very humble down-to-earth way of dealing with us that made the entire experience a real pleasure. Ross was an excellent communicator and a talented pianist. He was able to use his practical experience as a pianist to ascertain our needs and zoom in on exactly what we needed within our budget. Thanks to his very detailed advice, we were able to put the piano together fairly effortlessly.

We are delighted to write this review on Melbourne Piano Sales.After much research and after visiting many piano shops in Melbourne we finally were very happy to buy a Yamaha U30A from Matt. It has a beautiful sound and we are looking forward very much to many musical evenings. Matt made us feel very comfortable and relaxed and was not at all pushy - and he gave us a good price without hesitation.We had tried many pianos. We were looking for a very mellow sounding piano and the one we finally chose, as another reviewer has commented, just spoke to us with its warmth and clarity.We also received very nice service from Nick who is a piano technician working on site.We do definitely recommend Melbourne Piano Sales to prospective piano buyers.
