McKenzie River Rainforest Walk
This was a lovely peaceful walk and the swing bridges were great. Easy walk for pretty much any fitness level and good for kids.

McKenzie River Rainforest Walk
The rainforest was awesome. When we reached the entrance and started walking inside, looking at the trees before the rainforest area actually started, we felt like it might going to dissapoint us. But once we started the actual loop, it started getting really exciting. Look at the videos and photos in the review. They speak for themselves. The walkover two hanging bridges and the board walk were fantastic. This place has one of the tallest tree ferns.

The bridge isn't the only thing that is suspended...all your stresses and troubles are left on the highway as you surrender your senses to the enchantment of mother nature's soothing spell. You will leave younger and fitter than you began.Beware uneven pavements.

Lovely place to stretch your legs. Easy to find from google maps, plenty of parking and well signed. Was very cold and over cast when I was here but still lovely. Approx 20 - 30 min casual walk and stopping to take in the scenery and read all the info along the way.

An easy walking trail on a bitumen path and 2 very stable swing bridges. Information boards very informative, written in an easy to understand manner. Can drive in from the rest area to a parking area closer to the walk. Although I didn't check, it may not have parking for caravans.

McKenzie River Rainforest Walk
It's a beautiful but short walk venturing into the covered canopy surrounded by ferns, lichen, moss and so on. Definitely worth the stop!

McKenzie River Rainforest Walk
We stopped here for a break while driving through. There's lobg drop toilets on the main road and a car park. You can walk or drive about 300m up a gravel road to the start of the track. It's a nice easy walk in rainforest and was good for a short stop.
