Boho Gypsy Belle

Awful. Never have I been so harassed to buy. I wanted to browse and I told them that repeatedly but they were borderline demanding that I purchase everything they shoved me. Never again.

I do love the range of gypsy type clothing in this store. It's definitely one of a kind. The 2 star rating is for the one sided service. If you walk in and you even remotely look like you won't fit into their clothes or your just browsing... They don't want to know you. Twice I've been in with a friend and she always tries on everything...never buys, always browses but gets every bit of their attention in the hope that they'll get a sale. Pretty sad really...The prices are outrageous too! I'm not fussed if they come from outer space (she keeps telling me they are from overseas) you've got to make it affordable.

I won't be returning ever again and am writing this review to hopefully stop others being ripped off.Ive been in here 3 times, twice with an older friend who just wanted to have a browse. She stated she was just looking and was still harassed. She was followed around the store and the shop assistant pulled almost everything off the shelf to try and sell to her. My friend was extremely uncomfortable.The last time I went in there, I walked in because I knew they had a dress I liked. I'm very familiar with the brand which is mostly online so I was keen to try it on. The price tag was $159. This brand retail online and in other stores for $90. The lady was extremely pushy, I had my mum and my son with me and was trying to discuss with my mum if I should just buy one and order the other online. As soon as I got out the change room I was followed by the staff. We got told she could sell both for a discounted rate. I was showing my mum how it looked on me, I had already styled it how I liked and this lady came over to re tie it and have it her way. Which made me extremely uncomfortable.No thankyou. Went online, both were $90 each and I even got a further 10% off for signing up. Will never ever be returning to this store again.These two ladies need to re adjust how they approach their customers and the price of their items. How can you support local when an item is $70 cheaper every where else?

This shop has the cutest, colourful unique clothes. The staff were helpful, helpful and courteous. Looking forward to shopping there again!

I've never regretted supporting a local business more than my purchase from this store. Even the item I did like now feels awful knowing I could have bought it $60 cheaper elsewhere and supported a respectful business . Don't be sucked in by their invasive and pushy approach. If you call them on it, they'll just say 'but it's the sales industry' - go to ANY other store and learn about respectful sales approaches. The owners of Boho Gypsy Belle do not deserve your $$. Everything there can be purchased somewhere else.

I walked in, wasn't acknowledged. Wasn't looked at. Had my mother with me, the lady was ON HER. HARASSING HER. When my mother pointed out that I was the one browsing and interested, the lady realised her mistake.I have worked retail for 9 years in a number of store settings. You ALWAYS acknowledge the customers with the minimum of a friendly smile and a quick hello.You never harass the customer. You tell them about your offer and sales and let them browse for a bit before asking if they are looking for anything and offer your assistance. You don't shove clothes in their faces, especially more mature women.We walked out because, 1. I wasn't acknowledged, 2. Mum was harassed. That's a real shame.There seems to be a few other reviews with similar comments. Please take this feedback on-board.All the best in your endeavours.
