Ace Accommodation Albany

A few minutes to Albany's main street, food venues, pubs and shops via car. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast at the on-site restaurant.Rooms were clean, furniture was comfortable and functional. Two televisions, air con, double bed and two singles in separate rooms and bath style spa. The decor could do with a modern makeover.

We stayed at Ace Accommodation previously to this weekend and found it again a really nice place with great service, nicely decked out clean sparkling rooms but with thin veneer type walls you could hear guests in the next room if noisey. The Staff and front counter Staff were friendly and helpful I remember the last time we stayed we had a noisey family next to us and we were promptly relocated, thank you, Ace! The restaurant was roomy so you could be on your own if required, food menu was extensive, we had a grilled nannygai fish, enjoyed our stay, thanks again Ace Staff

Sleep and rest well at ACE ACCOMMODATION.Clean, tidy, comfortable, secure and presentable.With parking front of the door to your room, lights and cameras with high fencesnfor security - I felt safe and sound.The rooms are very tidy and clean. Just request when you want a service, so they respect your privacy.The room has all the amenities and comforts of a home, with options to get a microwave and a decent restaurant on site. The location is very close to other places for food.They have washer and dryer for your clothes and I had no problems at all with anything.Last but not the least, all the staff are very professional and helpful!A very competitive and decent place for your stay!

Stayed 1 night for work trip. Extremely comfortable rooms and decent looking restaurant (wasn't open on my stay). Rooms have been renovated and are very modern and clean. Comfortable king bed and wall mount TV. Cant ask for more for the price. Good work Ace.

From initial access from Albany highway to the property and reception,the 55 rooms are laid out on 3 different levels on the lower side-down hill although not very steep if you wanted to walk to the street or back to reception. Access to reception has 4 steps and the restaurant has 9 steps to access from the accomodation side so overall this place is not ideal if you struggle to walk,use a wheelchair and want to dine in the licensed restaurant. Otherwise easy access to rooms. Staff were very nice. We did order coffee to the room so this may be an alternative for dining. Would not recommend the coffee by the way although the food was nice. Have done a separate review for “Ryan’s Restaurant”The room we were in had a queen bed and single in one main shared area in a L shape. Mattresses were firm and comfy. The wet areas were decent in size. Had the hot water turned on only and was warm enough and had good water flow. The floor was quite slippery so exercise caution when entering or use the non slip mat hanging behind the door.Facilities available to iron clothing in room if needed. Decent size TV. Room was very clean with carpet tiles in living area. Kettle and instant coffee and tea with some milk in the fridge. Floor is suspended timber base so does creek and make some noise when walking. Full sun block curtains for privacy and for room to remain dark.The Mitsubishi split system worked very well considering it is winter and wasn’t very noisy.Well priced at $104 for the night during June! If you are a light sleeper like myself this is not the best place to stay but a good one nighter I believe. Was very busy place and seams to cater for workers as well based on some persons I noticed around wearing high vis. Caltex Petrol station almost directly across the road.All rooms on each level share common walls and under the same roof. Was able to hear from adjoining room muffled speech and the toilet flush and shower in use.Parking for each room is directly in front and there is parking for visitors at the entry.Really can’t go wrong for price with what they provide and they aim to please.

Check-in: Average.Room: Given a room above the restaurant. There are plenty of black ants crawling in the room. Went back to check-in and she had to call the owners to ask what to do. Then given another room at the back, which is cheaper in rate. They offer free breakfast for two to make up for the difference. There is no compensation of any kind from this hotel for the dirty room experience.Cleanliness: The linens are dusty and the carpet is also dusty.Noise insulation: None. Can hear all the voices coming from outside and sometime TV noises from next room.If you stay in the room above the restaurant, it will be more noisy with the passing traffic and guests in restaurant.There is no wifi signal at the other room at the back block. We found a big bus blocking our car when we came back after dinner, horrible experience.Breakfast: The restaurant staff do not know about the free breakfast offer given to us. The buffet breakfast for A$22+ is definitely not worth it.

Really lovely accommodation with fantastic staff and service! I only wish the rooms were better decked out (e.g., bowls, plates, cutlery). Apart from that, lovely stay!

Stayed here with kids. Nice setup. Double bed in room, 3 single beds in common living area. Two tvs. Place was clean. Appreciated the daily housekeeping to freshen up the place. Carpark right in front of room. Some suggestions would be to update the toilet and bathroom, and to fix the rollers on single beds. They rolled around too much. Other than that, decent stay for the price.

Spacious, clean room. Stayed 7 nights, housemaids very accommodating in regards to getting clean linen/towels. Wifi works intermittently. We were charged $10 per night to have a microwave in our room, this charge was not explained prior to our stay and was charged to our credit card once we arrived home. A rip off as the microwave was old and scratched. Bathroom needs a renovation and the noise from the neighbouring rooms needs attention.
