Orbost Country Roads Motor Inn

The cleanest motel we have stayed at for ages. What a lovely stop over we had at Orbost. Loved the place. Will stay here again on our travels on the South Coast.

Quite a basic motel. Friendly staff. The water pipes in the bathrooms are noisey so you hear your neighbours using the taps. About 700m from the Main Street. There is a fast EV charger in town and around the corner is a nice Thai restaurant.

The staff member was quite helpful and responded very quickly to our requests. We were driving from very far away and all places serving dinner along the route had closed. The potato chips and chocolates and juice available in the reception prevented us from sleeping hungry.The rooms were of decent size similar to other motels we have been to before and we slept well. Couple of things that could be improved are - 1. The bathrooms need to have extractor exhaust fans and 2. The locks on the doors should be a bit more sturdy.

The owners & staff are fantastically helpful & supportive.Clean, Great pillows & shower too.They were so good to me helping me through a very hard time when my father, local to the area, passed away.Appreciate their time, help & information very much.

Excellent location with an easy walk to town. Comfortable accommodation. Bathrooms could do with updating as could air con. Otherwise fit for purpose and small pool is a bonus. Thank you

Great motel, clean rooms, comfortable beds and also very quiet (no road noise). Usually stay there when we visit.

Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was great even though it's very small, would be good if there was some shade and seating.Outdoor BBQ is great if you want to do a cook up and save some $$.All amenities around the area including pubs and cafe's are within easy walking distance. Pleasant town to be in.I would have rated this motel higher if it wasn't for the male owner who YELLED at my husband who was watching him cleaning his Harley with his own light blue microfibre clothes, owner accused him in a very abrupt and rude manner thinking my hubby was using the blue face washers from the room. This made us both rather angry......... before you accuse and yell at someone from the other end of the car park PLEASE get your facts correct!

Nice little gem tucked away just off the highway. Rooms are clean and fairly good size.$130 gets you a Queen room consisting of queen size bed, sofas, tv, fridge, microwave, heater, air conditioner and nice sized ensuite with shower and toilet.The gentleman at reception was very pleasant and recommended some nice places to eat dinner. We ended up eating at the Orbost club, be sure to try their bistro. You'll thank me.

What a great Motel. Older style rooms which we love. Just hate those new age, white, sterile looking rooms. This place has a good country feel. Owner was awesome. Room was a good size and a very comfy bed. Breaky was just perfect. We enjoyed our stay.
