The whole experience with Gathar was amazing! I was planning my elopement in Tasmania (based in QLD) and left planning a chef to the very last minute with only 2 weeks or less out! From the moment of first contact, Jill (concierge) handled my enquiry with great professionalism and found me a chef with such short notice and at a great price.The chef arrived with all his gear and ingredients. The Food, the menu and particularly our Chef Arua was fantastic! We had a small intimate private elopement of only 4 people including ourselves and just the whole experience last night was perfect. It made our evening memorable and had the luxury of a fine dining experience in the comfort of our Airbnb.I would highly recommend this service to anyone. Don’t think too much about the price as it’s the experience you’re paying for! A big thank you to our chef Arua for being so awesome!

Lauren & the Team at Gathar came to our rescue over the Christmas period by providing last minute catering for one event and a private Chef for another. Lauren is so amazing to deal with and really helped us out. The food was perfectly tailored to our needs and exquisitely tasty!Our chef, Calvin, was super friendly, accommodating and an expert! Our experience with Gathar was incredible and it made our dinner party so stress-free. I would highly recommend and use again. The team were very helpful and responsive as well as flexible on the menu. Communication was fantastic. Chef Snax was amazing! The food was homemade and delicious with generous portions and really great quality ingredients and food – it definitely impressed our guests. They were relaxed, friendly and fun. And they even entertained the kids between cooking!

Love Gathar! Their team is amazing to work with and make hosting parties so much easier. The chef that worked on our party was incredible and so talented - I'm still dreaming about the dishes she served us! Can't wait to book my next party with Gathar!

Had a surprise proposal planned and Chef Marco Bilj was amazing. We planned a curated menu from the travels my partner and I did. He obliged willingly and executed it to perfection. Needless to say, she said Yes ☺️ It was overall a great experience dealing with GATHAR and it was one big thing less to think about. 100% recommend!

Gathar organised Chef Jess to cook for our anniversary celebration. Through different iterations we designed a great menu that matched with the special wines we were serving.On the night Chef Jess kept everything running smoothly and delivered up a memorable dinner - the croquembouche desert was a huge hit! It was a delight after such a grand occasion to enter a spotless kitchen! The evening was relaxed and trouble free!

Everything was superb - the Cullinarian, the flavours of the food, the service, the cleanliness of the kitchen at the end. The whole experience was brilliant. My wife and I as well as all our guests were very impressed. This was a wonderful stress-free dining experience, AND there were no noisy people at the next table! Samuel and Cici were a delight to have in our home, nothing was too much trouble for them. Total recommendation.

I used Gathar to surprise my wife with a special at-home dinner, and I couldn't be happier with the results.Chef Danielle and her partner Nate prepared us a three-course Japanese feast that was just out of this world! The pork and spinach gyoza were incredible, the teriyaki-glazed steak was so tasty and the chicken torikatsu was the best I've ever had - and I lived in Japan for years.My wife also enjoyed a couple of optional sushi options and it couldn't have been any fresher or more delicately prepared.The whole experience was so easy and enjoyable, from the minute I got in touch to make the booking, to walking into a spotless kitchen once the meal was done.I couldn't recommend Gathar more highly and if you enjoy Japanese food... the 'Journey to Japan' menu is just incredible.

Wow, I cannot recommend Gathar enough. Every element of the experience, from enquiry to the dinner was excellent. The customer service was so friendly and proactive, I felt really taken care of. Then, the dinner itself - INCREDIBLE. I booked the Gourmet Swagman experience for my 30th birthday and it felt so special The chef George was so kind, considerate, polite - he made the experience so memorable. And the food was delicious. I would recommend this experience to anyone.
