Visited Maleny Lane today to eat at Hari Bol, a big favourite of ours when in the area.To our huge disappointment, we were informed that it had shut down due to other business and family commitments. The person that gave us this news? The owner's brother, who runs Krishnas Kitchen, also in Maleny Lane a few stalls down.We therefore decided to try his offerings instead and are really glad we did. Although everything looked and sounded great, we both opted for the Kofta Boat, a Mexican-styled meal consisting of several large vegetarian Kofta balls, in a rich tomato sauce, accompanied by corn chips, sour cream, coriander and capsicum. For a very humble $10, the meal was excellent. Loaded with flavour, fresh and very filling in that unique, meat-free way.Although Hari Bol will be missed and we're sad to see it go, we're confident that Krishnas Kitchen will comfortably fill the void.

I was in Maleny over the New Years Weekend. We went in to Maleny Lane looking for something nice for lunch and after checking out all of beautiful options, decided to try Krishna's Kitchen. I am not a vegitarian but interested to try Hare Krishna food. I was blown away. The curries and samoses we got were absolutely beautiful. Well worth the visit if you are in Maleny, It will be my go to cafè everytime I'm visiting.
