Love the service and the food. Stopped into Forbes as we were hungry and had a huge trip ahead, who knew it was our lucky day. The lady who served us was a right old gem. The home made chips were a wonderful addition and the battered fish was AMAZING. My husband and I will be returning! Thank you so much!

Self proclaimed potato man of forbes fails at chips and scallops. Chips are either undercooked or cooked in dirty oil or both.They don't listen to instructions when ordering.Then give you attitude on the phone when u ring instead of fixing it.Very mediocre food at best.

Fantastic burgers in the heart of the town of Forbes. Very reasonable prices with fast efficient friendly service, plenty of seating in this clean well presented country food bar. They take cash or cards and have an extensive menu.

Thankyou Peter your kebabs were awesome. Fresh wrap, tasty kebab meat, real chicken bits, and plenty of salad . Thick homemade chips cooked too perfection. We will be back next time we pass thru.

Most of the food was really nice. Unfortunately the chips were significantly undercooked, essentially inedible. As the chips are an important part of such a meal this was a serious problem. I hope for the sake of the business that this was just a one time issue, but unfortunately it has meant that I had to leave a poor review.

Loved the plain burgers we had. Fresh ingredients and juicy meat patty. $8 plain burger is an absolute bargain and they tasted awesome. No complaints here, only praise.Excellent prices, great value for money and super friendly staff/owners.We highly recommend going for the cheapest and best burgers and chips in town.Other places in Forbes are charging $22 for a plain burger, ridiculous.Try the Wattle Cafe, you won't be disappointed.
