Moving Again

Do not hire this company they are a scam, I tried to move to Melbourne from Brisbane 2021. Very lovely at the start until you give them the deposit. I tried to call their office numerous times during business hours over the course of 3 days before my move and I got no response. then when the day of moving comes no one arrived. I had to hire a moving van and find a storage company to hold my items until I could send it down. Then a sub contracted mover called me 4 days later asking if im ready for my move and told them I'm already in Melbourne. This subcontractor then proceeded to ask permission to cut the locks to my storage unit. Incredibly sketchy and unprofessional. I then had a legal advocate look into the company and their business address did not exist and had zero contact from multiple different numbers and emails. If your have any sense do not do business from this company, they took my money and tried to take my item whilst screwing me over financially. worst experience ever

Just wanted to leave some feedback about my experience with Moving Again. We sell designer pillows and recently opened a second office on the Gold Coast. From the moment Jason took our call to the time his driver picked up our stock we we're extremely happy with the care that was taken. Prior to delivery Jasons team at Moving Again contacted us to make special arrangements for our products. While cushions are not likely to be damaged the made sure we had suitable boxes for the trip and promised our good were safe in there hands. They took less than the quoted time to move our stock from Brisbane to Gold Coast, the drivers were dressed professionally and actually took there shoes off when coming inside. I've used plenty of delivery companies in the past but very happy with these guys. I honestly think they are headed for great things. It's rare for a company to deliver on what they promise these days but in this case that was not the case. I recommend Moving Again to anyone who might need their service for local transport of retail stock.

I would not recommend using this company. They told me they could move my belongings interstate on a specific date, took a $350 deposit and then the driver called immediately to tell me there was no way he could take the job anywhere near the date I needed to have it collected. I emailed to ask for a refund, and they kept offering me alternate dates weeks away from when I need to move. Can’t get through on the phone whenever I call anymore, but if I hide my caller ID I get straight through. They’ve stopped replying to my emails and have not processed the refund. Dodgy.

I recently used Moving Again to shift my family up to Brisbane from Sydney. They were super friendly and helpful the entire time. When it came to booking a removal they had 4/5 different options available to try give us exactly what we needed. The driver and offsiders were friendly and professional. I think they took only 2 days total from pickup to drop off. Worked out great because we had to drive with the kids up and needed a break half way.

This company is a scam. The removalists we booked through them is dodgy as it comes. Was 3hrs late to pick up my things in Nth QLD, said he would arrive in Brisbane before 9am the next day, then it was 6:30pm and then 9:30pm, I told him I couldn’t meet him at 9:30 as it would be way too late with my baby and he threatened if I’m not there or if I don’t leave my key then he’ll dump my things in the driveway.Do not book through this company!! Their guys are rude and unprofessional.

Its a SCAM - Booked a move and needed to cancel, wrote an email to cancel, no reply. I rang the office and cancelled requesting my deposit to be refunded and advised this will be done asap. One day out from original booking and removalist rings to confirm move time, advised I had cancelled the move over a week earlier. still no refund of deposit and poor contracted now out of money as head office didn’t pass on the message. Definitely don’t recommend.

Never under any circumstances use this company. They are only middle men. Could not agree to a suitable time with the removalist so job was cancelled. Refund still after months, many phone calls and emails has not been returned. No choice now but to report. They will not answer the phone unless I have it on a private number because they do not want to give me my money back despite no terms and conditions being breached. Absolutely terrible customer service, I'd rather use a pack mule to move than have these people involved with my furniture.

The price was great, but communication was poor. They outsource the work to other companies and completely cut communication once the job was paid in full.Overall my experience was alright, as the movers were pleasant and got in contact with us themselves to keep us updated when Moving Again wouldn't answer phone calls or email. They got our stuff from Mackay to Brisbane overnight with no issues which I'm very grateful for. But very easy to see how it could go wrong! Safest option would be to deal with removalist companies directly.

My husband booked this company for a move from Perth to Melbourne. We have paid the deposit of $245 on a Friday, but had to cancel the booking for personal reasons already on the following Monday. It was about a month and a half in advance before the moving day. When I requested the deposit back, first they told me they will keep $100 dollar as a credit, so when I book with them again I will pay $100 less. Of course when I said no, they had to come up with something else. Took me 3 weeks to receive a partial refund. They have kept the $100 and asked me to read the terms and conditions. Legally they had no right to keep the money. From the start they were extremely unprofessional. I have no put together all our email correspondence and will be reporting them to ACCC. I strongly advise everyone not to use this company.

I moved from Newcastle to Sydney and they were the only quote I got under $1000 (it was mostly boxes, not much furniture or appliances) so I went with them. The people you book with are not the actual movers, they just contract the job out to a mover. They were very helpful until I paid (upfront) and then all the support disappeared.The movers that were contracted to come were meant to show up on a Wednesday but didn't. I tried ringing the company but they would not answer nor respond to emails. I rang the actual mover who gave me a story about being in QLD and his previous job was running a day late. Come Thursday, I didn't hear from him, and the phone rang out, so he refused to answer. The company was still unavailable. On Friday I got a phone call from a different mover who had just been assigned the job. He was also in QLD (Gold Coast) and promised to show up by noon the following day. He did and he was actually great and very professional.My gripe is with the actual company. They are just a shopfront and don't care what happens to your stuff or to you after you have paid them. If I were to move between cities again I would call the actual mover directly and cut out the middleman.
