Each visit I leave with a smile. A salon with community and heart. In addition to the demonstated care, the salon has commitment and follow through to sustainability and environment (being part of Sustainable Salons). Their COVIDSafe practises are so so so good! I spent a wonderful afternoon being pampered by Gerda and the team. Gerda is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to hair and I always pump her for information so I know how to look after mine properly. My hair has never looked as good as it does after a visit to The View. I wish I could see her more often but I have to share her with other clients!

Gerda and the team are excellent. I have been travelling across the city to get my hair cut here for years! Because Gerda is so skilled at knowing what style will work best for me. They are extremely professional and courteous but also very relaxed and friendly. Highly recommend them!

Best hair styling I have had in 14 years in Australia. Professional, knowledgeable and very talented at styling hair.Time efficient too. Gerda listens when I describe the kind of haircut I want. 10 out of 10 will go again.

Went in to buy hair products and after asking if I was ‘local’ was treated very poorly. This salon might be kind to regular customers but not to anyone else.

I have been seeing Gerda for over 6 years; she is an amazing hairdresser - extremely knowledgeable. I always feel welcome and enjoy my experience in the salon with The VOV team - the head massage, olaplex treatment, music and cup of tea is truly relaxing. Recently she did my + 3 bridesmaids hair for my wedding - it was an enjoyable morning knowing I was in Gerda's fantastic hands - the style was exactly how I imagined it and my hair did not move until hubby pulled the hairpins out after midnight.

It’s very difficult to find top quality and reliable hair stylists who are committed, experienced and knowledge in ‘What’s going to suit you best’!Also, have the flexibility to ensure, that if I had to attend a function at the last minute, Lindy my dresser ‘would create the perfect hairstyle for that occasion’!Lindy has an amazing ability to style and colour my hair in a way that is beyond my personal foresight. I trust her completely when she suggests a new style or colour.
