Calabash Kennels & Cattery

Holly has the best time at Calabash Kennels and when we pick her up she is happy to see us but missing her new found friends and the staff. Would highly recommend as it is a relief to be able to travel and know she is well taken care off. Thank you Calabash staff you are amazing.

We are so happy with the quality of care provided by Calabash Kennels and their amazing staff for our two young dogs. We selected 'The Lodge' for our fur babies as it caters for small and medium size dogs. We know they had a fantastic time by the photos we received while away and by seeing how happy they were on pick up and how easily they returned to their normal routine at home. The only way that we can really enjoy our own holidays now, is knowing that they are having their own holiday at Calabash.

5 stars care, facilities and service! Highly recommend Calabash to all dog mums and dads. We came across Calabash via a family friend’s referral. We had our 17 months old dog (“M”)stay at Calabash recently for 9 nights and she settled right back at home when we picked her up. We saw regular updates on M via their Facebook page and they were responsive on emails and was able to recap in detail how M was during her stay. (THANK YOU team Calabash!)Their website is very understated though so go along for a site visit (you need to book) and it would be good to take your dog for a short overnight stay there before leaving your dog for a long stay.

Very grateful to have been recommended Calabash from a friend, as we have found a safe and happy place to leave Razzle to holiday when she can't join our holiday. It's such a hard thing leaving your pet, but they receive amazing care, and we get regular updates to keep my mind at ease. Thank you to the wonderful staff!

I had left my cat Milo in their care for almost 40 days. This was the very fisrt time for me as well as for Milo to be away from home and to be in a cattery. And I would really like to thank their cattery team for taking such good care of him. A big shoutout to Realin who helped me the first day getting detailed update on him after leaving the cattery.The rest of the team helped me transition into a better holiday experience knowing he was well taken care and assuring me tht I have left him in good hands. There were many photo updates on their Facebook page and also they were very prompt in replying to any email queries I used to have.After we bought him home on our return we could see he had been quite happy and didn't show any sign of stress or anxiety. Within few minutes he was back to being his cheeky self :)All in all we had a very good experience with this business, and I have already recommended them to one of our family friend who has a cat too and is planning on a longer vacation abroad.I would definitely come back for Milo in future if ever need be.Keep up the good work you all!!!

Sally had a wonderful vacation at Calabash and clearly enjoyed every minute. She hasn’t stopped sleeping since she got home and is very relaxed and clearly hasn’t suffered any stress. Thank you to all the amazing staff at Calabash.

This is a well set up and professionally run facility with friendly and helpful staff. We first left our dog ( now 8 years old) there for a half day, so that she could get used to it and know that we would come back for her. She was not keen at first, but after a few subsequent stays of up to a week she is now excited to arrive and she comes back home happy (clean too, as the staff bath her on longer stays). I do recommend Calabash to my friends and family.

I can't thank the amazing team at Calabash enough for the love & care they showered my puppy & cat with over the 5 weeks I was away. They went above & beyond for my gorgeous creatures & kept me up to date & feeling very comfortable throughout. I definitely recommend Calabash!

Thank you so much for taking care of Flash. We had the privilege to speak to Linda when Flash was boarding at Calabash. who is extremely experienced and knowledgeable about dogs and cats. When we spoke to Linda we were definitely heard and seen. Linda is a kind and compassionate person who has empathy for people and the animals she cares for. The other carers we spoke to were also warm, kind, patient and caring. The photos below show our dog being confident and happy with his tail up and parading around like a show pony. We can see in the photos below that Flash got lots of exercise with lots of space to run around and lots of play time on the fixed equipment. When our Flash was returned to us he was healthy and full of joy. Calabash team we can't thank you enough. We will recommend you to everyone.
