I found Mek after looking at a few graphic design and psychology websites and becoming overwhelmed by the choices, and the poor functionality of some of the websites I saw. As a sole trader with a business with multiple arms (psychology, training and writing), I needed someone to help me understand brand strategy and to scaffold me through the process of developing a website which showcased all these arms. Mek understood the brief perfectly and delivered a website with beautiful functionality, clean lines and a simple (but lovely) design — exactly what I was seeking. Mek were very easy to work with and the process was entirely streamlined, leaving me free to focus on my core business. As a big + they are also very friendly and have a powerful ethos and strong values — all things I look for in vendors I partner with. Mek's design drastically helped with the success of our first ever gallery fundraiser event at Farm Transparency Project. Helping us raise over $8k and counting, they were quick with understanding direction and creative in deciding how best to attract guests with an abstract design and catchy 'Art for Animals' event name. Mek-designed posters around Melbourne's vegan cafes, restaurants and grocery stores were well received and certainly helped us achieve over 250 ticket sales prior to the event taking place. We look forward to working with Mek again in the future.
