The Cheesecake Shop Mackay

We recently used the Mackay Cheesecake Shop to make our wedding cake. As always their mud cakes are delicious. We told them what we wanted and they were largely able to provide it for us. Where they couldn't they worked with us to find a solution. I would happily use them again.

Was waiting 20 minutes to buy from their pre-cut cake fridge. Hadn’t seen a single staff member and rang the bell more than once. Finally staff came out just to walk back behind the wall.

I bought Zebra cake this afternoon n it looked and tasted amazing!!!!The birthday girl loved it.The whole family loved it.Thank you very much for showing me. My experience in your store was excellent.Thank you again from a very happy customer xx

The Staff at the Cheesecake Shop never fail to give exceptional service. They always accommodate my needs. On half a days notice they an produce the perfect Birthday Cake for my family to enjoy. Ive been getting my cakes from them for years & the owner Di always makes sure her customers are satisfied.

BEESTING TORTE - A must try cake. Soooo Moist, it melts in your mouth. The best thing is we get in different sizes like full, half, midi, quarter… Lots of options available..

Ordered 3 birthday's cakes for my Mum's 70th.Very friendly service.Decent prices considering.Decorated well, and each one was delicious (loved the marble one).Highly recommend.

Phone ordered a Beesting Torte from the website, so was expecting the same as the photo especially for $43. It was for my parents' golden wedding anniversary, so the whole point was the golden glaze on top. Photos show the difference. The receipt was for a Black Forest Torte which caused more confusion. I have since seen a shop cabinet photo and the products in the shop display vary greatly from the photos on the website...so be aware that you may not get what you expect! The shop should be letting customers know that they do their products differently to the website when you order. My experience was that there was a lot of confusion with communication amongst the staff. When speaking to the manager she didn't listen, spoke over top of me a lot and didn't focus on the point of my complaint. My experience concluded with the manager rudely making another phonecall whilst still speaking to me. Not impressed to say the least! Silver lining...this was a practise run for the real event as the original plans have been postponed. I now know that I won't get what I expect from this shop.

Foods great. People are helpful and friendly. Go to for all occasions and never disappoints.

Great selections of cake but not much to choose from, specially the one that we're looking for. Place are small and clean, staff are friendly.
