Singh Smart Alterations - Clothing alteration Northbridge

I wanted to alter my two dress pants to fit me better, and I chose to go with Singh Smart Alterations. I had such a lovely time there. The environment was very cosy, and they made it really easy alterations. I got a quick experience. I highly recommend it as it is a good choice for your seamstress and design-altering needs.

I visited Singh Smart Alterations yesterday. I wanted to alter my gown. It was free size. I asked them to change it urgently. Super impressed because they did the job on the same day at affordable prices.

I’ve never had an issue with a simple hem adjustment coming unravelled within a month or so, but it happened twice with pants I took to this tailor. The first time I returned to the shop with the pants and my receipt to show what had happened, granted it did take me a few months to go back but IMO an alteration should be a permanent adjustment that lasts the life of the clothing item, and so well within reason to ask for it to be fixed. The woman working there was very rude and told me it was unreasonable to expect it to last a few months, she did eventually reluctantly take it back to repair but the damage was already done.I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you are happy for the alteration to only have a short lifespan. I’ve been to more affordable tailors and never had this issue.Also kind of obvious that a bunch of the positive reviews are fake (accounts only reviewing different Singh smarts stores)..

I fell in love with a vintage dress but it didn't fit quite right. Rena transformed the dress and now it fits like a glove. Rena is such a talented seamstress! Would highly recommend Singh Smart Alterations.

I had a really really bad experience here. I had two pairs of jeans, one needed a simple hole fixed and the other needed the zipper replaced. When I got them home, I realized that the hole was not properly sewn up. They had also used a black stitching on a lighter blue denim, it looked really terrible and was very obvious as the hole was on the front thigh. The zipper on the other pair of jeans broke completely the second time I did them up. When I went back to ask if they felt they could fix it or if I could get a refund, they were really mean. She basically said that she could not guarantee that it would be fixed, and that they aren’t responsible for the zippers. Since I had paid $50 already, I just said please do what you can. When I went to pick them up the stitching on the front was destroyed and the zipper did not line up properly. This was my favourite pair of jeans and I’m devastated that they are ruined. The other pair of jeans I paid $300 for and I’m not sure that I can get another alteration place to fix the stitching without ruining them further. The fact that they make you pay in advance should have been a red flag. I thought it would have been super convenient to get my alterations done right beside the grocery store, but I really really wish I had gone somewhere else, it would have been way worth the extra hassle.

I tried a few tailors to alter my kid’s uniform earlier, but I was not satisfied until I tried Singh Smart Alterations. I must say that it was the best as far as concerned to my experience. Their whole team was highly skilled and professional. Therefore, now every time I want to alter my or my kid’s clothes, I always prefer them.

I have Used the service 5th time now and every single time I was very happily serviced, and even though their prices are not expensive the work is of high quality. I travels extra miles to get to them as she is very happy with the alteration work. Also so far the pick up time promised is always spot on and I never had to wait, for this I would give them 10 stars if i could.Keep up the good work :)
