Summer Hill Village Patisserie

Saw the sign “all made on our premises” and hoped for the best, went inside and ordered my usual test for any bakery a meat pie and sausage roll.Meat pie was ok not the worst but not the best (villi’s from any servo are better) but the real let down was the sausage roll. I had gone in before 8am but it wasn’t fully warm ? Surely IF it was baked that morning it wouldn’t be cold, definitely tasted like it was pulled out of a Mrs Macs box and put into the warmer.Very unhappy and will not return.A lot of the cakes on the way it looked amazing and probably did taste good, but if a bakery can’t even make a good sausage roll and meat pie I won’t bother trying anything else.

Pricing is quite reasonable, tried the pear and ricotta tart everyone raves on about here. I thought it was nice but very little pear in it. Also was a bit overburnt. But for the price and size it was ok.

Great friendly staff and their range of baked goods is excellent. The sfogliatella we got was fresh, delicious and had a light and delicate orange scent. Fab local patisserie!

I ordered my daughters 18th birthday cake from here and collected yesterday, it was perfect!!! Just what I wanted and the most delicious cake ever!!! We all loved it, would thoroughly recommend, thank you, Kelly

Very good customer service.All items are baked and prepared in store so its authentically fresh.In Business at the same spot for more than 20years.Got cheesecake and Croissant.Taste was so good.

Great range, and a very impressive price point! They made the cake for my father's 70th birthday dinner. I gave them less than a week's notice and asked for something off menu, and they delivered a beautiful result! And one of their pies with a coffee in Lackey Square on a sunny day is a very fine thing :)

The donuts (bomboloni) were so good. Finally I’m done with my quest in finding the best donuts.As a pastry chef myself, I could see that the pastries were looking fresh. I would definitely come back here when the donut craving hits and to try some other desserts.

Everything these guys sell is made fresh -I love everything I’ve tried (we live near by & go regularly) especially love their ricotta & cherry plait for a shared morning tea treat

I absolutely love this place!! The cakes here are to die for, I come and pick something up before all of my family events and they are always a hit. The tarts are perfect for any occasion, and the cherry & cheese pastry has been a personal favourite for years. Would definitely recommend!!

This is no ordinary Custard Tart.In all the years I've eaten Custard Tarts (and I'm talking 30 years) this would be the best Custard Tart.If you don't believe me then come down to Summer Hill Village Patisserie and try it for yourself.Amazing!!!!
