Bumbunga Lake
The best time to visit this place is during summer. However, we went in late spring. I prefer late spring over summer to visit pink lakes because there are fly attacks otherwise. So I advise you wear a hat, sunglasses, and a mask to get away from the flies. There’s a billboard placed to get those perfect photos at this place. When the water is dried, you can walk up to the dino in middle. Enough parking spots unless the place is crowded.

For the first time in my life, I went to a mysterious place.This is not just a lake, but a pink salt lake, but it was okay to actually see it.It was open and the wind was blowing coolly, and it was nice to take a walk.

Bumbunga Lake
First time on a salt lake and it felt special. Lake didn’t look as pink as it does in some of the pics we saw prior, but understandably influenced by various environmental factors. The Loch-eel Monster is a brilliant add-on, taking the tourist potential up by a few notches. Definitely worth a drive and a visit from Adelaide.

A good roadside spot to stop, rest and explore. This is a huge big salt lake! Based on sun’s position sometimes the salt look nice pinky!

Cool place to see the eel. Make sure you wear good walking shoes or boots. It's salty and wet. But over all very cool

Awesome spot to stop at. You can also camp across the road at the Lichfield hall. There is a short walking trail out to the lake platform
