Always an amazing experience at Smart Tops. My hair has never felt better, as they only use the best colour products. Will come back time and time again.

Had an 11.30am appointment. Got there and they said they were running behind and appointment is now 3.30pm. Told them they should ring people and tell them they are running behind. They said they can't do that. I left, having wasted my time. Won't recommend. Rude staff!

This salon is a rare find, they’re reasonably priced, use quality products, make my hair look great and give me laugh every time I’m there. Shannon is a great stylist and a pleasure to spend a couple of hours with.

Been my hairdresser for years and will continue to be. Great friendly service, amazing skills and outstanding product range. I am always happy with my hair when I visit smart tops. Lula is great. Such a good hairdresser with great conversation too! Would highly recommend booking your next hair appointment here.

Beware - do not go here. There is an old frumpy man who works here with orange hair and glasses who couldn’t be more miserable and rude. He is truly intolerable. Why some people like that work in customer service I will never understand.

We initially were customers of Just Cuts ( inner west) but decided to give Smart Tops a go although hesitant it may be more expensive but surprisingly we were wrong! All staff are wonderful, very friendly and welcoming but we have become Hairdresser Groupies" of Shannon and so happy to have found someone with his hairdressing skills/expertise. PS we are in the process of having 'We Love Shannon T-Shirt's '-----as all dedicated Groupies Do!"

I used this service twice…the first time wasn’t too bad so I gave them the benefit of the doubt because it was my first visit although on reflection I was overcharged because I was quoted a lower amount when I booked……the second time, when the colour was put on it was put on a bit lower on the right side of my forehead. What I didn’t realise was that the colour actually burnt my forehead…ie not badly, but my forehead did blister during the week or so after the colour….the blisters burst and scabbed (I have photos). As to the haircut…all I can say it can’t cut but hacked!!! And I was overcharged again even though they we adverting a special for short hair….all I can say is I won’t be using this salon again and encourage others to take note of my experience.

Went to buy hairspray @$9.95. Asian woman with gloves pops up behind the counter we are going to charge you $10 if that's OK because you are paying with a card". I said "No it's not". She laughed "you're lucky I even told you!" So Check your receipts for overcharging. This attitude that they can just overcharge you whether its 5c or $50 is wrong."

Worst haircut I have ever received, chunky and choppy and have never been more upset when I looked at it at home.Had to go elsewhere the next day in an attempt to get it fixed.Paid for WB and cut, but the blow dry was not completed and I was pushed to the front to pay.Extremely disappointed is an understatement.
