Utility ID Underground Service Locators and Hydro Vacuum Excavation

I phoned Utility ID on a recommendation from one of their happy customers to trace the exit of a down pipe. The underground pipe is in a very difficult position and hasn't functioned for 25 years.Within a short period, Sam had tracked the pipe with his detection equipment then used his Vac-truck to trench and redirect a new pipe without disturbing any path, garden etc. Even a trencher was not an option to carry out this work. After completing the trench I asked Sam if it was possible to excavate a hole 600mm diameter and 1200mm deep on the very edge of our pond and waterfall to house a holding tank and submersible pump as it was almost impossible to do with any machine or by hand without damaging the pond. Once again the job was done quickly and safely without any damage. Without having to ask him, Sam washed down the surrounding area of any mud, including plants/garden with a fine mist using his equipment, leaving the area clean and tidy.Very impressed with his work, attitude and price. 5 stars from me!

I'd highly recommend Utility ID - Sam came over before I started building a carport, both services he found were directly below where he had marked them. The power going to my shed was a lot shallower than expected as well so he definitely saved us from damaging it when we dug the footings. I also had to carefully dig down to find the stormwater as the new downpipes had to be connected to the existing pipe so it made it a lot easier knowing where it was.

I found this a really valuable service. The guys were very professional and stopped us from causing some costly damage. The vacuum excavation truck was a really fast, neat and tidy way to dig my post holes with the site access issues. Highly recommended
