Signed up for the double session of developing and enlarging my negatives. Dillon was a fantastic teacher. The class was small and therefore very personal. I asked a heap of questions and Dillon had an answer to all. I learned something truly magical and I’d highly recommend this class/membership to anyone who has even the slightest inkling toward analog photography! Cheers Dillon

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS EXPERIENCE!! I booked the double class for my partner and I - where we developed and printed our own film. It was so extraordinary. Dillion was a great guide/teacher/mentor throughout the whole day. His energy was calm and grounding yet very informative.I highly recommend this to anyone who has even the slightest interest in film photography. The class was casual yet intimate and worth every penny. To develop and also print my own film (without using any digital technology) left me feeling inspired and full of child-like wonder. If you want to do a class but feel you can only do one, then I suggest the print class - this was where I had the most fun (however doing both the classes together is even better).

Great place for developing films and enlarging prints. Top of range facilities and full chemicals supplied for all sorts of needs. Staffs are super chill and super friendly and helpful. Every time I been there I’ve leaned something new. Great place and highly recommended.

Stumbled into this amazing miracle of a place and discovered a community of passionate photographers working together to practice their art. A community darkroom like this is such a surprising treasure for Sydney.I took the introductory classes with BJ and left feeling empowered and inspired to take my first tentative steps into the darkroom. Managed to even make my first print!The class was informal but informative, and casual but clear. They are really down to Earth, generous, and seem to have their priorities where they should be - on the art. Really looking forward to spending more time here.

Took the course here to learn how to develop your own negatives. With no prior experience in the lab, I wasn’t sure what to expect. BJ was a great teacher, explained things really clearly so they made sense. He is extremely knowledgeable and answered lots of questions along the way. I now feel like I could develop film on my own, which is a great outcome from just 1 class! And the negatives turned out great... super happy with my experience and definitely coming back to learn how to print!

Really great day of learning the art of processing and printing at Rozelle Darkroom. Facilities are excellent and Jess was a great teacher. Highly recommended .

I was lucky enough to take one of the B&W printing classes at Rozelle darkroom. The members were so friendly and happy to share all kinds of knowledge. I would highly recommend you sign up for a class to check it out. Fantastic experience and great resource for the Sydney photographic community.

A little spot for film shooters to develop, make contact sheets, and hand print your photos. You can also take classes here and the guys are super chill and helpful, would recommend taking a class to familiarize yourself with how to handle films and turn them into real physical images in the darkroom. 6 hours went by so quickly for me since I had a lot of fun - thank you Dillon! I’ll definitely consider getting a membership in the future.

Amazing classes and space! I've been meaning to attend a printing class at Rozelle for ages and finally did it and it was well worth the wait! Dillon was a fantastic teacher and has a trusting, relaxed vibe. Explained things really well and was super straight forward and easy to follow. 3 hours flew by and after it we decided to get a membership to keep learning! This space really deserves more rap for the service they provide to the broader community! Access to a darkroom is something I've wanted to a million years and I love the little community it has a round it :)

Great functional lab. Had a great experience here. 100% recommend.
