Doug did some excellent work for me. Ended up getting some extra work done at the same time, which turned out brilliant despite my last minute request. Thanks for another great session.

Hands down the best tattoo artist I've come across. From the consultation to the tattoo on the day Doug's attention to detail was incredible. He was so fast and kind throughout the tattoo and most importantly he was fair and honest with pricing. I'll never go anywhere else !!!

I had a 25 + hour tattoo done by Doug (the owner) of my fav program DR WHOand it is amazing, he always took the time to make sure everything was sizes/place correctly before starting.Always made to feel welcome ( I've had some deep discussion in that studio )Fair pricing (not that you should ever get tattooed based on $$)Other staff are great , on my last session 26/02/2015 even had Scott and Kirstenin all different poses to make sure my rework was corrected to his (and my ) likingMy wife is having a tattoo by Doug next week also and can't wait !!!I will be back soonCheers again Doug and crew

Don't listen to the previous reviewer she has no idea what she is talking about. I have had many tattoos over the last couple of years at Skinworks and have always had a great experience. Recently I have had several tattoos done by the new apprentice (Dylan). Were they always perfect? Maybe not, but what do you expect for $40, the kid has to learn somehow.And upon speaking to Doug the owner he was more than happy to fix up any errors, whilst showing Dylan where he went wrong and encouraging him to do better next time. That's part of the learning process right?Highly recommended, don't believe the haters!

Doug was amazing at taking on a tattoo that was previously started by another artist. Together Doug has almost finished such an important piece of artwork and I’m beyond super happy with the results. Doug was hilarious, he made me laugh, he let me have input into what I wanted and for his first chrysanthemum I’m head over heals at how talented this beautiful man is! Doug is a wonderful artist and I wish I found him when I was 18. I’m a fidgety sitter but he gave me as many breaks I needed and checked in with me every now and then. Please support these guys, they’re so lovely ❤️❤️

After receiving a quote for my first tattoo I considered proceeding for a couple of weeks. On Saturday afternoon (12/3/2016) I met with David, the Skin Artist, for completing my chosen artwork. The symbolism and attachment of the artwork was very important to me and I asked if David could do his absolute best in a true representation.Within an hour and a half David produced an amazing tattoo, which has promoted many people to comment. The 3D effect gives my artwork depth and character, setting it apart from many other tattoos.Thanks a lot David, you did a wonderful job.Am I happy with my skin art? Yes, I love it! Would I recommend Skinworks to anyone considering skin art? Highly recommend it. Was the price reasonable and competitive? Absolutely. The time of actually doing the skin art was less that quoted and I paid the price for the actual time the artwork took. That's good business.In addition, the studio was clean and well presented and each Artist showed genuine interest in their clients and a good knowledge of their work. I'm really happy.

I couldn't be any happier!Over the years I've had quite some work done on my body (in Australia and overseas) but this is the first time I'm absolutely happy.They took their time to discuss solutions for my cover up and the outcome is just amazing!Doug did a brilliant job and the art work I saw the rest of the team doing while I spent entire days at the studio was outstanding.Overall a great experience and I'll never go somewhere else.If you want great artwork done and good advice the team at skinworks tattoo is where you should go

Last year I had a cover up done by Doug on my lower arm. It is a work of art that I really cherish. Truly the best I have ever had. A year on I still love it and it still looks fresh.I love Skinworks artistry, professionalism, levels of hygenie and customer service. The staff put you at ease and the whole process is a breeze. I have no hesitation in highly recommending them to do an amazing tattoo for you-old or young.So this year I have come back for a full upper arm sleeve. I have waited over 10years to find an artist that I trust with the experience to do a quality work of art and Doug has nailed it. Many, many thanks.
