Home of Serengeti

I went on a retreat with Serengeti last year. The attention to detail by the Serengeti team is mind blowing. From the handcrafted, bespoke and personalised welcome gifts, to the beautiful welcome to country, purposeful yoga and meditation throughout, delicious nourishing foods and all the little moments in between took my breath away. The whole experience enabled us to switch off and focus on who we are and why we were there. I made so many connections, many I am still in contact with. The location selected was perfect, it was close to nature but didn’t compromise on comfort. Harmony, contentment, peaceful and playful.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Lamb and Jeff for hosting Serengeti Retreat last Oct/Nov held just past Margaret River. The retreat was perfectly organised, with all meals included, a spice workshop, Welcome to Country with the amazing Shaun Nannup who allowed us to connect to the earth, which I found very moving and of course yoga under the care and guidance of Lamb. l find Lamb is very clear in her direction with her teaching of yoga and is very accepting of those who may not be as supple as others and you practice yoga at your pace, there is no right - there is no wrong. If you are wanting to extend your practice Lamb will also cater with extra classes. I met a lot of beautiful people who I now call friends . Whilst Lamb is teaching, her wonderful partner Jeff (being a professional photographer) is taking photos and videos of the events, he also told his story and apart from doing lots of hard working in the background with the team, he gave us a run down as to how he wanted to learn more about his craft, very inspirational. There were photos being captured throughout the whole event and you didn’t even realise they were being taken. So Lamb and Jeff work incredibly well together making you feel comfortable even if you have something going on in your life that you need to face but don’t know how then the retreat is a space where you can be free. I would highly recommend attending Serengeti retreats and seeing Lamb and Jeff in action, can’t wait for the next one!

I am so grateful to have shared many beautiful moments together with the wonderful group of people on the recent retreat. Moments of encouragement, challenge, growth, happiness and love. Wanting the best for each other.Lamb & Jeff genuinely want to share their love and knowledge, bringing out the light in people and make them shine, to share a journey together and they certainly did this.The location was great and food unbelievable! I recently attended a retreat with Lamb & Jeff and wow, what an experience. Put myself out of my comfort zone and dove straight into the unknown. This retreat couldnt have come at a better time in a life... I was in need of a break and disconnect from the business of life. Having never done Yoga before, I was fairly anxious about giving it a go but im glad I did, never did I imagine such an amazing feeling right after. When Yoga wasnt on the menu, AMAZING Chef cooked food was. Let's not forget the sauna, ice bath and journalling sessions! But most importantly, it was the amazing and genuine connections made throughout the retreat that will last a lifetime.

My first retreat was with Home of Serengeti and the bar has been set very high! Lamb & Jeff put incredible amounts of detail into every part, everything that they include has a story and meaning behind it. After the first day everyone felt like we had known each other for weeks. All of the activities were optional but no one wanted to miss out on any of it. The workshops and yoga classes were catered for everyone on the retreat, those who just wanted a little and those who wanted a lot. Thank you so much for an incredible experience, I will be keeping an eye out for future retreats with Home of Serengeti!

I was recently lucky enough to attend the home of Serengeti - Awaken retreat and was completely flawed by the experience. Lamb & Jeff are so committed to ensuring that everyone gets the most out of each opportunity with a perfect balance of respect and encouragement. It was truely a time to disconnect, relax and reset.Every element of this retreat was given so much thought and attention to detail - between the activities, the food, the company and the accommodation, we were absolutely spoilt!

Highly recommend this retreat to anyone wanting to either try yoga for the first time or continue improving their practice. A chance to meet new people who will soon become friends, try a variety of activities and eat wonderful food. What more can you ask for.

ReviewI recently had the privilege of attending the Awaken retreat hosted by the beautiful Lamb & Jeff from Home of Serengeti. I didn’t know what to expect, having never done a retreat before and no yoga for years, but from the first afternoon Lamb & Jeff created an atmosphere that made me feel welcome and at home. The love, energy and enthusiasm that they put in to the retreat was infectious. They planned out with care and thought all of the activities, making sure that all of us on the retreat got the most we could out of the experience. The food was amazing, the group we had now feels like a family and I’ve had some experiences I’ll never forget. Can’t thank you enough Lamb & Jeff.

I am so thankful that I took the time away, to disconnect from the hustle and reconnect with myself. I have recently returned from Awaken Retreat 2.0 and Wow!!A lovely group of people from many walks of life (so happy to now call my friends) united to share a beautifully curated experience of yoga, sound healing, learning, delicious food, self reflection, physical challenges and creative activities (but also the right amount of space/ down time), all whilst living in very comfortable accomodation.Huge thanks to Lamb & Jeff for the work planning and preparing to the beautiful energy and genuine care on retreat! I recently attended the Home of Serengeti Awaken Retreat & it was life changing. Lamb & Jeff are amazing hosts who willingly share their time & knowledge. The retreat is perfectly organised with amazing food and a great balance of yoga, activities & reflection time, in a very tranquil setting. I met 14 amazing people who I now consider family. I'm excited to implement everything I learnt & would love to make this an annual event, so I can monitor my progress & continue to learn. You don't need to have a life changing reason for attending but you will receive a life changing moment. Lamb & Jeff truely wish a better life for everyone they meet and it's a rear & unique gift they have. The gift of sharing and I will be forever grateful
