Running a small rural business (Giru Barramundi and Crayfish), is full-on. There's heaps of challenges and a good coverage of knowledge and experience required. So it's reassuring that you don't also have to be an expert in computer repairs and maintenance. The staff at The Computer Workshop not only designed and built our system, when it comes time for repairs and upgrades, they can be relayed upon to get it done. One less worry!

Excellent Service!We recently moved our business to a larger premises with more staff and working with Chris and his team has made the transition a breeze.Gina was our first point of contact and has kept in touch throughout the whole process to be sure we are happy with their work. Chris spent time listening to our needs and provided relevant options and prompt quotes for our job.We had limited notice prior to our move but Adrian and the Service Team worked quickly to have our internet connections running and servicing all areas of our workshop in no time. All staff were pleasant to deal with and showed interest in making our project a priority.Jordan then swiftly actioned the installation of our phone systems and emails providing progress updates along the way.I could not be happier with the service The Computer Workshop Group have provided and would highly recommend.

Recently purchased a desktop computer from one of the big chains, unfortunately what we received wasn't ideal or fit for the job.We took the computer to Chris and his team at The Computer Workshop Townsville.Wow, what a difference a professional can make, for a relatively small fee our computer is 10 times faster, hold more items and works a treat.Great service and great price!Will definitely be using again and recommending.

We've been using The Computer Workshop for sometime now for our computer needs and their service and support is absolutely fantastic. They go above and beyond and nothing is ever too much trouble. Jordan is exceptionally knowledgeable and always has a smile on his face. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was delighted to find The Computer Workshop after being ripped off by Computer Geek. The wireless keyboard failed. I took the Dell desktop in to the workshop in Garbutt asking them to also fix the very slow responses. They called me on my mobile and gave me a quote for a new Keyboard and mouse (wireless) and replacement of the hard drive for SSD drive. took them less than half an hour to complete the job and to my delight cost far less than expected. I have a Dell computer better than new and lightening fast. Thank You!

Took my new computer in for a BIOS update and the work was done flawlessly, i wont take that way from them, they did a good job and had a good turn around for me.The price however was astronomically high and simply unacceptable.A BIOS update is a simple swap out the cpu and update the bios then put the old cpu back in. Done. Its an hour job at most. But upon collecting my computer i was charged $330 for 2.5 HOURS of work. That is insane!Its simply a part swap and update. I could have bought a cheap older cpu for less than that and done it myself!What an absolute joke that charging was. They did a good job of the work but price is a joke. Definitely will never go back into this shop.*Edit to address the company reply:I must stress to anyone reading that the company did a great job and finished the job very quickly which was excellent and I thank them for that (after telling me they weren't very busy today but that's fine)A cheaper way I could have done it was to go and buy a whole complete new 12th gen CPU. Brand new in box, for $299 from Digital Matrix and do the whole thing myself which would have been cheaper than the $330 you charged.Also to take out/put back a CPU is not a complete disassembly" like you suggested but a simple 5 minute job each time. 10 minutes if your slow.Also if I was smarted I could have just chosen the $10 option on PC Case Gear when I bought the PC and they would have performed the same thing you performed for $330 but for only $10.Your pricing is insane. For such a simple job. There is no defending it."

Bought a reconditioned PC from these guys a few years ago which is still going great guns. I'd recommend buying their machines for sure. Recently Kaez serviced my PC for me which was badly in need of it, don't know how I get a modem so dirty, but it's running great again and further to has been super helpful with other issues I've had with my photography software. I can't rate these guys highly enough. I'd recommend them for both PC purchases and service in general.
