If you have an interest in Australian country music this place is a must visit. It covers the history and evolution of country music and features many older as well as new artists. It also has plenty of memorabilia items on display.

I’m not really into country music, but the small museum takes you through the history of Australian country music through the decades. With lots of exhibits (think cowboy hats, boots and guitars) there is a wealth of music history in this small museum.

What a gem. A fabulous look into the evolution of country music in Australia. A great selection of memorabilia… and stories throughout the decades …. An absolute treat that had you wanting to head home toput on your LP’s and scoot around the dance /lounge room floor!!Would also add the staff member was full of knowledge of the place and also in the area. 5 stars to her. We had a great time.

We visited The Australian Country Music Hall of Fame. Now I know Country music singers but I don’t listen or play it.. Each to their ownBut I was blown away today , I remember all the older singers and musicians obviously because they were so good. It’s true even if you are not into Country music you will get s kick out of everything there. The young guy who took our $7 each to get in he was a nice young guy. Very friendlyThere was so much to look at and then they have 5 era’s on video with John Laws was the narrator. Then in another room there was about 5 more videos of interviews with people like Lee Kernaghan, Slim Dusty , Keith Urban .I’m from Mooroopna Victoria and so were TheHawking Bros. Russell and Alan started the bad in 1955. They won quite a few awards at the Golden Globes in the 1970sThey were best friends with my great uncle. So even if you don’t like Country music do yourself a favour and pop in you certainlywill enjoy it
