Bought a pork belly from the fridge costing $44, stupid price! But also asked to have the skin cut off and to also keep, got home and the skin wasn’t with it and also the belly had heaps of bones in it! Drive the extra mile and go to calwell instead!

Disappointed in a $29 per kg porchetta I purchased for Christmas lunch. The pork was very grissly and tough. The stuffing was not nice, tasted rancid. First time I purchased from here and won't be going again. Expensive and poor quality.

Constantly the best meat on the market. In 3 years we have never had tough or gamey meat from M&K (gamey can happens with 'lamb' is a bit older than it should be). No wonder others have given it 5 stars! Staff are great too.It’s now 2018 and nothing has changed! Consistent quality and now and then, a new line, like pre-marinated soy sauce chicken or ‘Popeye’ rolled lamb roast.Must be one of the best butcher shops anywhere.

Shopped for Christmas ham and was assured that LDK Lanyon butcher sourced female" pigs that were much tastier. (I wondered whether this was a rubbish statement) Against my better judgement I bought one (cost $110) for twice the price per kilo of the usual Aldi

Best butcher in Canberra! I would rather pay an extra $2-10 for good quality meat anyday. If you are not willing to spend a bit more on this butcher then stick with Woolworths disgusting meat! This butcher has been my go to for 4 years since finding it! The pork actually has flavour and the rissoles are amazing! The roast rolled porks a bit expensive but it's so worth it! Its the best pork I have had out of anywhere in Canberra! Love love love love this shop !!
