M.A. Cross Plumbing

We were looking for a plumber to do some maintenance work and hearing an ad on radio 101fm we contacted MA Cross via their website and I had a call form the owner Michael within an hour. He gave a estimate of cost and said as he was in the area the next day and would arrive around 11.30. He was on time. Very thorough with his work, very reasonable rates and explained what was needed to be done as he went along... and the work areas were left very clean. Thoroughly recommend.Happy homeowner

Extremely happy with Mike and his off siders work. My system failed called him around 16:00 and he was out the next morning with a new unit, fast, efficient, quality work at a price that locally couldn’t be beat, even replaced the dodgy hose job with a hardline. The most painless contractor I have had the pleasure of dealing with, would definitely recommend this local business, and if I require any future plumbing Mike is my man.

Rang for a quote but when I mentioned that I had asked for quotes from other plumbers he was very rude and hung up! I suppose he doesn’t like competition. Can’t comment on his work as I was rudely hung up on. Not professional at all.

I booked Michael to install a replacement toilet. He gave very good advice over the phone prior to the job. He arrived on time and was very professional. The old toilet had been badly installed by a previous owner but Michael efficiently got around the problems and installed the new toilet in good time. I would highly recommend him.

I found Michael in the Little Aussie Directory. He was prompt in getting back to me when I left a message and arrived the same day to stop my leak around the kitchen sink and replace the mixer tap. He replaced the tap with a good quality stylish tap.A few days later my sink was blocked. Michael was prompt in returning my call and set a time to come 2 days later. He was able to remove the blockage in the drain outside and had it all working within the hour.Thank you Michael. I will be happy to call you next time I have a plumbing problem.

Mike was absolutely brilliant - he came at short notice for a toilet related emergency. Within 45 minutes he was here and had diagnosed and fixed the problems within 20 minutes. I strongly and wholeheartedly recommend him for good old fashioned service. The cost of the job was also fantastic.

A few years ago I had roots growing inside my toilet drain. I contacted Mike Cross after seeing his ad in the Little Aussie Directory. A younger man turned up using an electric eel and scarred up the tiling in the bathroom. Then he left without reinstalling the toilet bowl leaving an open drain. He also failed to test to see if the drain free flowed. I had to reinstall the toilet myself and after the first flush I found out that nothing had changed. When I rang Mike Cross to complain he raised his voice stating that the job had been done and that I owed him almost $200. I regret ever contacting Mike Cross. Avoid this man.
