I understand the rules for parking, however… I have a large family all older and we all have vehicles and our fair share of toys ie. jet skis. Mx bikes. Boat and trailers. We also have a lawn out the front of our home that has ample space to keep stuff off the road potentially at a high risk of vehicle to vehicle incidents. The council don’t see this and to my dismay this is very concerning.I work in high risk activities for work in fifo work mining and we always mitigate risks on a daily. Council have placed warning notes and actually came to see us as a neighbor known as Karen, Has complained while I was working on my trailer out the front on my home go figure? Anyway council you should learn to do your jobs more effectively and not just stating what the rules are… rules can be amended And should always be allowed to be reviewed your rules are flawed and cause more risk sometimes than being an effective mitigation of safety to all drivers and residents. As to the Karen that complained. Poor form. Just come and talk to your neighbor geez what’s this world coming to. Also council officer said they would do our nature strip lawns if we needed ? But we would have to place a lodgement to get this down which takes a couple weeks to month. Hahaha when have they ever mowed our lawns when they’re overgrown… like never! Poor form SC Council crock of sh&!

Weather is not fantastic which obviously will will have many problems arise on the coast. I put in a request regarding council branches by my property. The Sunshine Coast council parks and gardens team acted in a timely manner and amended the issue at the earliest convenience. Thanks again!
