These guys are incredible! With great customer service. They have fixed broken zips and taken in denim shorts so they fit perfectly. One zip that I had replaced broke, but they replaced it for free for the next day

I knew I should have walked out when I overheard a woman upset they hadn’t finished her wedding dress, her wedding was the following day and it wasn’t altered on time as they’d promised…I then hesitantly handed over my request. I asked for a towel to be embroidered for a baptism, needing it back on Friday. I was assured it would be ready for collection by Friday afternoon.Following a 15 minute conversation of what I needed and wrote down the instructions I handed over the towel with reluctance…I returned on Friday afternoon. Again, I overheard a disgruntled customer complaining his pants weren’t finished properly. Then it was my turn.. I was told my item wasn’t in store. Their embroidery machine was broken. Told with attitude I could either a)wait around an hour or so for it to be dropped off b) drive to midland gate or c)return the following day.I returned on Saturday, embroidery was wrong. I showed the person behind the counter that they didn’t follow instructions and she told me to come back on Monday when the manager is in store to complain if I wanted. She also mentioned when looking at my receipt I was overcharged however wouldn’t do anything about it. Told me to speak to her manager on Monday and brushed me off.Shocking service. I’ll never return nor recommend anyone to Looksmart Karrinyup again.

Two pairs of identical jeans to be hemmed the same, picture speaks for itself - RUINEDTerrible sewing, told it was the fabric, wonky lines, not even stitched in certain areas!Owner was so rude and spoke terribly to her staff.I have had alterations done on 3 separate occasion and every time they have been incorrect, not ready or they can’t find my clothes. Will never go back!

Absolutely terrible experience! DO NOT RECOMMEND! The lady in charge has terrible customer skills. I asked for my suit pants to be lengthened, came back 1.5 hours later to find they had been shortened by about 2 inches when I said they had been shortened and not lengthened like we had said she then continued to interrupt and yell at me saying I was lying and that she was right. After I asked her to listen to me for 2 seconds and not interrupt so we could sort the issue out with her co worker agreeing with me that it had been shortened, they took the pants back to re do. I came back half an hour later to find the pants still too short. I said I would take it to another place as it seems it’s not going to get resolved. I ended up having to pay with my suit pants now not even being able to be used because of this. Disgraceful customer service and disgraceful quality.

- After I left the shop, they sent my pants to a different alteration shop.- Pants were still at the other shop when I came to pick them up (1.5 hours after collection was due).- Waited for 20mins to get them.- When they arrived could clearly see the sewing line on the outside of the pants.- Waited around for another 30mins for them to correct the job.More negatives regarding job quoting, but can’t be bothered wasting more time on this. Needless to say I will not return to this place.

Came in last minute to have my pants altered for that same night! The workers recommended the express service & were so helpful and accomodating to my last minute fix. The girls were absolute gems and the service was still preformed at a high standard given the small amount of time they were given! Most definitely will be back

Needed a suit to be altered in a short turn around and they were able to complete it that day (even though we agreed on tomorrow pick up). Highly recommend and will definitely use again. Big thank you to Gigi and the team.

I took a coat and jumper to Looksmart for invisible mending of small holes from silverfish and/or moths. Was quoted $130 for the job. They contacted me a day or so before the due date to ask me to call them. I called, and they said the work could not be done for the agreed upon price ($130) and I would have to pay an additional $60. I made the point I had been quoted a price for the work, which I paid at the time, and expected the work to be done for the agreed price. Then told I could pick up the coat, but they would effect the repair to the jumper for the quoted price. On the coat, I could have a “normal repair” for the price. Was told it would be ready on 22 June 2023. When I attended to pick up, neither item was repaired. Told it would be another week. Went and picked up. The jumper had not been repaired using invisible mending, nor the coat. Both were substandard jobs, which I will have to live with, or have done properly. I would not recommend this business.

Got some pants hemmed here a couple of weeks back. They tried to charge $64 for a basic alteration and then changed the price down to $30. Took 5 days for one pair of pants.The elderly customer in front of me was charged (ripped off) as well. Customer service, abysmal.

My (92 yr old) mother had 2 skirts and 3 sets of pants altered and hemmed. All work excellent and the service person was extremely helpful and caring. Finish of the work was excellent. Length of the hemming spot on. I have taken a lot of work to this business over about the last 20 years and always received top service.
