The shearer’s shed for family getaway is amazing! Beautifully finished luxury bathrooms, amazingly comfortable beds, super fun details from the custom windows into the sheep runs to the sorting table dining set. So fun. So beautiful. Lovely to see the thunderheads and knee high grass.

Adored our two nights with 2 families (4 adults 4 kids, ages 11-9) especially the sheep’s run and creek swims, incredible historical feel, warm ambience and luxurious appointments of the Shearer’s Hall. A welcome bottle of local fizz + Sharp knives = happy chefs and so it was a pleasure to cook up and enjoy a fabulous weekend of fresh country air. Also a shout out to the delicious breakfast provided by Wilga. Thank you for all your hospitality and care. Highly recommended.

What a find, spent a weekend with the missus in the Farmers hut. It was really cozy and pretty amazing to wake up looking out over the countryside. A nice bottle of wine was waiting for us in the hut when we checked in too!

We had such an amazing stay at this stunning accommodation! It was a super relaxing getaway. They thought of everything. Highly recommend. Unwind, see the stars, drink local wine, taste farm fresh produce and cozy up to the wood fire. Loved it

I stayed at The Wool Store with 3 other adults recently. The property is absolutely stunning and was so comfortable! I love that it was in a quiet lane way but just around the corner from the main street and great food and coffee. I really feel the cold so was wondering how cold it would be but it's so well insulated the temperature inside was perfect even when it was quite cool outside. Hope we can come back again, would definitely recommend!

Absolutely beautiful getaway couples retreat. We stayed in the farmers hut which was lovely.The bed and the daybed nook were great to lounge around on and unwind.We loved the charcuterie board and sparkling present on arrivalDefinitely make sure you take the walk down to the river along the track!

Stayed for five nights over New Years in the Shearers Hall. Absolutely stupendous! The owners have thought of everything. The rooms are lovely, the views are amazing and the small touches - like the esky in the outdoor kitchen - make this place something to remember. Love the way they've preserved the history and kept the impact of the build as small as possible. Highly recommend Wilga Station, can't wait to try the Farmer's Hut one weekend when the kids are away.

My 4 friends and I stayed in the amazing penthouse at the Wool Store, and I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough! It has been so beautifully restored and has everything you want for a relaxing weekend trip. It’s also located right in the center of town so is literally a 2 minute walk to the main town park and all the restaurants and cute shops. We also got to explore the Shearers Hall at Wilga Station itself which is equally beautiful if you are looking for more of a farm experience. To be honest I wasn’t super excited about Bathurst as a destination, but both it and the Wool Store seriously exceeded my expectations - we will be back!

Absolutely amazing place to stay with so many well thought out little touches. The views from the bay window are to die for, the serenity of the location is divine and the hosts are incredibly easy and helpful to communicate with. To top it off, I proposed there and she said yes! Cannot wait to return one day :-)
