Overnight stay on business. Room out the back was donga style. Clean and comfortable with ensuite. No bed light or side table which would make a difference for glasses and phone.I had one of the specials for dinner.5 spice pork cheeks, asian vegetables and noodles. The cheeks were melt in the mouth. Nice to have something light and tasty.Watched state of origin on the large tv's in the main bar.Good to see they were also training some extra bar staff ( back packers).

Great food, good pricing and most of all extremely friendly staff. From the moment we walked in the staff were so polite, ready for a chat and very helpful. The food was cooked brilliantly, specifically the Porterhouse! Great spot to stop over for a meal or visit if camping near by (as we were).

The period room was both spacious and well appointed for a country hotel. We had a magnificent meal in the hotels dinning room, so filling and great quality, we loved the room, the dinning experience and the very amicable staff. Honestly come and enjoy the experience, you will not regret it.

Staff are brilliant even make to visitors feel like a local. Food is awesome...normal menu is great but when the opportunity comes choose the specials...

This is a great spot to stay. The owner has done an unbelievable job at renovating it. Fantastic food, icy cold drinks and genuine hospitality. The staff were engaging and knowledgeable. The perfect stop on the way out to Lake Ballard! Thanks for a wonderful stay - Perfect!

Happy friendly staff,very clean and warm for winter. Great food and excellent price for alcohol. They had the cleanest sparkly wine glasses I have every seen. Well done staff would highly recommend:-)

Nice old place with meals and bar. My room had a spa. Plenty of parking and 24 hour BP 100 metres away also with meals
