Friday Creek Retreat

We had a lovely experience here and the pizza night was definitely a crowd pleaser. All 12 of us thoroughly enjoyed it, and Paul was so helpful during our stay, offering advice on places to visit and things to do. The kids loved roaming around the property and the cabins were very clean.

A breathtaking view and a beautiful cottage! We're staying two nights at the beautiful Asian cottage. Our stay was very relaxing. Our boys also enjoyed the swimming pool. The place is located about 20 minutes from Coffs Harbour so I would suggest getting food and supplies before heading back to the place in the evening.

In brief, nothing works! (April 2023)Wifi was not working, Oven was not working, Toilet seat broken, door handles broken, outdoor furniture covered in bird sh*.And the owners were so not responsive.They advertised that they provide pizza with 4 hour notice, we gave them 7 hours, and they refused to help us.

What a phenomenal place to stay and to host a wedding! My husband and I held our wedding at Friday Creek Retreat this weekend just gone and we couldn't have hoped for a better venue.Paul and Dianne (and their entire team) were absolutely amazing and offered their help wherever we needed it.The scenery is stunning and our photos look ridiculously good.We stayed on site with our entire bridal party for a few nights and were welcomed with open arms, given full run of the property and loved every minute of it.We honestly cannot recommend Friday Creek Retreat highly enough, not just as a wedding venue, but as a place to stay for a beautiful getaway. We will definitely be making our way back for holiday stays in future.Thank you so much, Paul, Dianne and crew - you helped make our wedding un unforgettable experience for us and all of our guests! We had a lovely relaxing time in this idyllic location. The cabin was lovely and cosy with a beautiful open fire place. We staying in the Casablanca cabin which was great and would like to return and try one of the others. Can totally recommend Friday Creek.

We stayed last weekend in cottage number 9.I can’t tell you how beautiful and amazing that place is. You open your eyes in dream every morning. Loved everything about it. Clean, cozy and well designed inside and out. Great bedroom with amazing view! Kitchen well equipped. What else… don’t forget to have your coffee on porch every morning. I did my routine yoga there while bird were singing.Pantea

We had a most amazing, relaxing and peaceful 2 nights in the French themed cottage. It was so quaint with it's European décor and rustic building. Well appointed kitchen to cook but ensure you bring your supplies as it is a bit of a drive for supplies. Furnishings are very comfortable. Perfect evenings with a fire, marshmallows, hot chocolate and romantic movie. We ordered the Romance package with lovely wine and chocolates and the breakfast pack with freshly made bread, farm fresh eggs beans and preserves. Such a treat.

Love this place, quiet, comfortable, private, clean and the peace and quiet is something else. Am already planning my next visit and intend trying all the cabins and their themed decor over time. Friday Creek Retreat is a truly magnificent place to get away from it all. I cannot recommend it enough.

Dianne and Paul are amazing, compassionate people and their magnificent property helped to heal our weary souls. The cabins have everything you could want for a relaxing stay and the location feels like a little piece of heaven. Thank you!

We loved our stay at Friday Creek in the beautiful Orara Valley near Coffs Harbour. It was restful, yet within striking distance of Coffs beaches and we could take our pooch with us. The cottages are delightful and there are dog-friendly state forests within walking distance. The hosts are wonderful, yet unobtrusive. We had great bbq and pizza dinners by the retreat's pool (the hosts will happily fire up the pizza oven and supply you with pizza dough and sauce; you just need to bring your own toppings). Our only regret is that the retreat isn't closer to our home in Sydney ...
