Cyrus Rugs - Rockhampton

Very disappointed with service and policies.I have purchased 2 rugs and was told that I could change but not be refunded, in case I change my mind with the product, No problem there, agreed!Less than 24 hours after the purchased, myself and my wife had decided to change and upgrade the rug for a bigger one! (Nothing wrong with the rug, just not big enough for the area)We drove one hour back to the shop to do so, and surprisingly we were terrible attended for a different sales person, introducing himself as a store manager!We did not have the opportunity to even say what we were doing back on the store , the store manager asked if the rug was the one with a tag “sold as it is”. We confirmed!He went then to show us the famous small lines on the receipt and complete rudely saying, nothing I can do!My wife tried to explain the police was not explained, and we didn’t return to ask for a refund but for an upgrade to a bigger rug!He refused to do business!Mister manager completely changed the subject, contacted the saleswoman that service us on the day before and sold us the rugs, confronts her if she explained the policy, that she confirmed!I said that wasn’t the case, otherwise We wouldn’t purchased the rug!I just want to buy a bigger rug!Mister manager not happy contacted his head office changing the subject, saying my version was different than his staff version and he believes her side not mine! (If is not be called a liar I know nothing)I walked off the shop very upset but happy that I haven’t spent extra $600 on price difference on the bigger rug.My wife contacted the head office to explain our bad experience, she was told to receive a call back in 24 hours that never happens!This shop will never see me again and I strongly suggest anyone to do the same.

I have to say my shopping experience in this store was one to remember. Outstanding customer service from both staff members Kim and Mark, thanks for putting up with me over many visits before finding my forever rug. The shop has a huge range of variety and some extravagant rugs to suit everyones budget. Thanks for all your help.

Rudest man at this shop. Went in with the intention of purchasing a rug and left within a minute. So rude and abrupt when we entered with a drink. I understand you would be concerned about people spilling drinks on rugs, but I’m not a child and can handle an enclosed drink with a straw. I would even understand if you politely stated there was a no drink policy but there was no need to sooooo rude and abrupt as though we were second class citizens below you. Went and purchased our rug from Gladstone and won’t be back
