Dropped in to visit yesterday at 452pm. As we walked into the entrance we were greeted" by a hostile woman (Angela?)who just barked at us "we're closed" on repeat. If their furniture is anything like their customer service

service I have received in this store from the young blond lady is appaling. I believe her name is Sarah. I have been served by this lady on 5 seperate occasions and every time she has been rude, passive aggressive, condescending, sarcastic and has never once smiled or been helpful. Sometimes not even acknowledging me for over 20 minutes..Upon making a complaint to head office I received a call from the owner of this particular store. Rob or Rod was his name.When he called me to apparently ask more details of my contact with this team member he actually said to me as I started to talk and explain “now look ok going to have to stop you there because this team member just wouldn’t do that and I’ve worked with her for 5 years and have never seen her be rude to a customer”Now from my experience when you call a customer who has had a terrible experience in your store your meant ro actually let them speak….I said to Rob/Rod that I wanted to finish what I was saying as I would think he would like to know what happens in his store when he is not there and that team members can behave very differently when their boss isn’t around.He continued to tell me that he would expect this on other team members not this team member. I was shocked as I said I’ve actually had a pleasant experience with every other one of your team members since shopping with you but this one.I have some examples of a man who served me and he told me that he was and I quote “the worst person who’s ever worked for him who was a misogynist” I can honestly say I laughed and said “why would you say this to a customer!?”The conversation honestly got more bizarre with him telling me that we had a personality clash. I informed him that I had purchased ALOT of product from his store and I would think he would want to take on board some feedback form someone who clearly shops their often. He was not interested and basically told me he couldnt care less about loosing my business.Well you did and I’m going to tell every single person I know and trades person to never step foot in your store.I have never dealt with a more of headed person in my entire life that clearly doesn’t care about customer service.Good luck Rob or Rob or whatever your name is because I can’t see you staying profitable with an attitude like that because it will pass down to all of your team not just your little clone that served me.

What i envisaged to be a seamless transaction ended up been an absolute nightmare. The unit that I had purchased had countless defects which was extremely disappointing to see. Was excited to receive it upon opening up the packaging there were scuff marks on the item, it had not even been painted properly and the backing board was uneven yet it was stapled together.The quality is shocking and the finishings were extremely poor.Obviously it had been slapped together overseas whilst I waited for stock to arrive.Seriously not able to comprehend how a business is able to continue to operate with defective items and disgusting customer service. The unit I purchased did not even remotely look like what I saw in the show room, where all the furniture were beautiful and flawless.I have read the negative reviews that have been posted after making the purchase thinking Oz Design is a reputable brand which values quality, customer service and integrity. Unfortunately all those negative reviews are all valid.Don't be fooled by the pieces of furniture you see in store as there is a high probability you won't be receiving what you envisaged. Avoid high levels of stress and steer clear.Certainly isn't worth wasting your valuable time and expending your energy on staff that have no clue what customer service is. They dismiss your claims or simply ignore it which is one effective method of handling queries and complaints.One star would be considered incredible generous. They don't seem to know what feedback which is the key to improvements.

I placed an order during Melbournes first lockdown. There were a few issues with the furniture I ordered once unpacked. I immediately contacted the store and found Wayne to be extremely helpful and understanding. Issue was solved easily and stress free. Replacement and pickup was organised by the store and delivered to my home. Fabulous service. Happy Customer. Great Team..

The puppy there will uplift your mood while your credit card cries. Love the customer service. The prices are great and really good furniture designs. Thank you. Cant wait for our sofa and bar chairs♡

Our lounge was delivered 2 months ago and after removing plastic covers i tried to push it a few centimeters when I noticed one of the legs has ripped the timber flooring,i checked the leg and noticed a huge nail is extruded from the leg which has caused the damage.I contacted the store and after few emails they came back to us that it was your responsibility to check the lounge at the beginning!a product is supposed to be sound a functional and if there is any issues,the company has to take care of it.we bought this lounge around 4500$ which is nearly double price of what we could get from other places like” nikscali”or “focus”.Please be careful and do not waste your money buying from a store that has no responsibility for their faulty product.I am very unhappy and will seek help from any authority that can help.

Service was fantastic. They carried out chairs to my car for me. And gave us a great deal. Quality of the chairs was also great.

Coerced my parents to purchase through false information about stock when there was plentiful in stock.Also $2 away from the spend $1,000 get $250 back and did not allow my parents to go back and add a small item to meet this requirement just 30 seconds after leaving the store.A disingenuous business and sales team.

OZdesign never fails to disappoint me. I’ve spent literally thousands of dollars on furniture from Nunawading store when I bought items for my new house.Poor quality on the items once you receive them considering it’s brand new. It’s either damaged or poor workmanship. Safe to say the only items that are of good quality are the showroom displays.First it was the marwan bench, I didnt bother to have it replaced even though it is bending like crazy when I sit on it and I’m not even a heavy guySecond is the marwan buffet, my wife complains doors are difficult to open and true enough it is when I tried it because magnet ridiculously too strong! I don’t consider this a big deal so as a workaround, I had to put tape on the magnet.Third is one of the amanda bar stools I bought had a problem with one of its legs. Even though I was very grateful it got replaced, the whole thing had to have drama when I got into an argument with one of there staff Tracy - very long story but I’ll never forget this experience.Now is the Lennon tv unit I bought last year and got delivered yesterday. One leg is damaged and the screws used for the legs are too long and protrudes from the inside and had damaged the wood.This will be the last time I buy anything from them and it seems I am not the only one having issues with them.
