Coonamar Ski Club
Felt at home the minute I walked in! Coonamar caters for everyone-from families to teens to groups of friends. It's 2 main levels with a rumpus rooms with a table tennis table and super warm fire place and HEAPS of bed rooms! It's got ALL the facilities that you need and THE BEST FOOD EVER (yep one of the only lodges that have food included). Anne and Richard, the two lodge managers and cooks are INCREDIBLE. They make everything from scratch including the cheesecake with poached pear we had as well as the vegan burger patties and home-made baked beans in the morning. The lodge is super close to the village and you can skip Blue Bullet in the morning and jump straight onto a run at the Lydia Lassila lift. Can't wait to come back next year! Thanks again to Anne and Richard for being so awesome!

Lovely family friendly lodge. Yes - you do need to help out with the dishes etc, but this adds to the communal feeling. No wifi available though which some like and others don’t. Great meals - hearty cooked breakfast and dinners with dessert each night. Very clean bathrooms. Cosy communal lounge. Looking forward to coming back.

Great lodge. Very clean. Quick walk to The Village. The kids played table tennis, board games and had a ball using the lodges toboggans. Cooked breakfasts and dinners were fantastic, the roast on Saturday night was a highlight. Yes, you need to help with chores but that’s part of the experience. Highly recommend.

Nice well appointed room with warm bedding, bathroom very clean, delicious food for dinner and breakfast, and staff very understanding of special dietary requirement. The host is friendly and attentive, and the other guests, most of them members, were welcoming and helpful. A lovely stay, we hope to snag some more days to be able to come back!

Great place so warm and friendly , delicious meals , loved the games and the table tennis matches with adults and the kids an all round amazing place to stay , clean and very comfortable we enjoyed our stay there and would definitely recommend it to others .

Coonamar Ski Club
Coonamar is a basic lodge representing great value for money. The lodge is warm and comfortable and an easy walk to the village. The rooms are bunk style and my mattress was firm and comfortable. The food is basic but plentiful, and very satisfying after a day on the slopes. Spacious drying and gear storage rooms and friendly people. I would definitely stay here again.
