My sister I are traveling from Kununurra to Wyalkatchem and are staying here tonight and I have to say it's the cleanest roadhouse I've ever come across. The single rooms are lovely and spacious. The public amenities are meticulously clean. The shop has the widest range of foods I've seen on the road. The main meal menu is extensive and goes from 5pm to 8pm. Oh and the staff are absolutely delightful.

Stopped for a quick feed, fuel and a bed for a few hours when passing through on an endurance ride.Had a veggie burger and chips, really surprised how tasty and well presented it was.Prices were more than reasonable.

Stayed for 1 night at a powered site. Friendly staff and everything was clean and working. All and all reasonably quiet for being next to a truckstop/gasstation/roadhouse.

Beaut spot to stay, clean and tidy and great for meeting other travellers. Power and water available, so very handy after being off grid, whether van or tent. Thank you, will be happy to call in again.

This review is for people in tents/swags. Plan ahead and avoid staying here. The tent area is literally the grassed picnic area next to the roadhouse. The picnic area is sandwiched between the walkway to the dongas out the back and the road to the dongas/caravan bays. I asked if I could put my swag up over in an unpowered site but was told it would be another $15. (Total of $30 for one camper). Waited till almost dark to roll out my swag as I was trying to avoid all the families eating and playing in the picnic area. The grass is scattered with patches of bindis which I didn’t notice in the almost dark so I will be removing for days to come. Shower was hot but very cramped and only one tiny hook no shelf etc. Toilets nothing to write home about. Stop for fuel if you need it but save your $$$ and free camp. It will be quieter and you will be less exposed.

Excellent place to stay. Nice shady private powered sites with a lovely restaurant and al fresco eating and drinking area. Great coffee and wraps in the morning. A nice walk over the old Ashburton Bridge to watch the sunset. Only thing I didn’t like were the toilet and showers. Clean but tired and would be lovely if upgraded a bit.

Had booked to stay but wanted to move it forward one night which was not an issue.I thought we would have noise and light issues due to the caravan/camper area being so close to the road and traffic, but it wasn't an issue.I didn't like having to walk across the sand after my shower, but it is the outback and you can't expect paving everywhere.Very busy place. Some prices for food are beyond expensive. $3.50 for a Freddo Frog. One little Freddo.Amenities were clean. Staff welcome depending on when you went in, ranged from friendly to I am just doing my job.Good spot to stay between towns.

Rms are just dongas $180 per night.First room no remote for Aircon so moved to next room. TV size of a shoe box. No wifi no internet. Meals over priced and terrible, only good thing fresh vegetables but over cooked to mush. Steak if you like well done this is for you garlic sauce if you like texture like curdled split cream you will love this surf and turf and if you need more mush don't forget to remind them to add your lumpy mashed potatoes before you leave.1 * room2* service at least they changed my room and took back the curdled cream3* location the only thing this stop has going for it was fuel or I would not have made it to the next.

Stopped for lunch and a stretch. Clean and pretty well maintained. The best of the roadhouses along the Carnarvon to Karratha highway by far.
