Nice historical place to visit. however lacks additional information on site as to it's actually working of the era. Outside of this it's a place of awe as one imagines what it looked like in it's hay days. Recommended.

Walking track is good, not a lot to see though. Nice dam with wildlife and a few ruins

This is one of several old mine sites around Maldon. There are several picnic tables for those wanting to stop over for lunch. This is nicely tucked away off the main roads, so it doesn’t get as crowded as some of the other locations in town. There are still some notable ruins here to see.
