The Fish Head Noodle Soup is brilliant. It’s vermicelli in fish stock soup topped with fried fish head, tofu, pickled vegetables n tomatoes..yummy! Staff are consistent as in friendliness n helpfulness!

I ordered the seafood laksa and chicken wings. Seriously prawns are not eatable. The texture and taste were… like they were from a rubbish bin. But the soup was ok.

Average at best. The curry was well spiced but the chicken was dry. The sambal tasted terrible and there were almost no peanuts. I am also not a fan of having everything piled into one bowl.

Rude and dismissive service, not only to me but other customers, from the guy in the Deakin University sweatshirt. Seafood Laksa had 3 prawns and 3 pieces of calamari but no fish pieces as advertised on their menu board. There are more options with better service in this food court.

Some hit and misses at the joint. The ban mee was good, but the curry chicken with roti can give a miss.

Really enjoyed the meal at Chinta. The roti was delicious. Really good snack and also available with curried chicken. I’ll try the chicken next time. And the roast chicken rice was great, almost as good as the chicken rice in Singapore. Highly recommended. Reasonably prices.

Service was prompt and food was good. The sing Mai was surprisingly good. Fish head noodle soup was ok. Generous pieces of fish and the soup was tasty. Great variety on the menu. Will try their curry laksa and others next time.

Unfortunately the quality of the chicken laksa has deteriorated by a great deal in the last few months. Whether it is due to a new chef, new ingredients or trying to save on expenses is unknown. The soup lacks the richness and depth of flavours it once had, it also lacks the creaminess.The chicken laksa was incredibly watered down at one time and very disappointing, and especially moreso with the increased price for one bowl. The service from the young woman at the counter was unfortunately rude when I last visited. When I had to count my coins at the counter she rolled her eyes and although tried to hide it, had an unfriendly insincere demeanour. As a long time customer in the past when the laksa was delectable, I will most likely not be returning to this restaurant if the quality of laksa does not improve.Good luck to this restaurant, I hope they can return their laksa to its former glory.
